Goto Start -> Programs -> CCP -> Right click on your EVE Client, then select properties. Theck click on the Compatability Tab and then secect Run this in Compatability mode for Windows 98/ME, Apply changes and exit then start your EVE cli...

Apparently this is a good workaround, I was also having problems with my log in screen couldn't see even 1 word, there must be some kind of compatability problem with Windows XP, I cam here tried changing the properties, compatability Windows 98/M...
