The Jove Empire is completely unreachable as far as we know, and none of their technology is available to us. They are far superior to any of the other factions in EVE. |

Way back when you could get into Jove space with a clone trick but there was nothing there other then stations. As I can remember there was no Jove ship on the market and there was no NPC's ships/rat in the systems.
IF CCP ever allows Jovian players/tech it will be gimped by some unforseen reasons. It would be cool to fly some of this ships even is down graded, they do look cool.

There are jovian skills, as required skills for their ships.
Doesn't mean they are available to players in any way, though. |

The pre-req to train Jovian Frigate level 1, is that you must have Jovian Frigate level 5.
Just in case, somehow, a player actually got a hold of a skillbook, and somehow managed to get a ship, they still couldn't train for it.
BTW: Dev's fly them =)

Some time ago, when CCP introduced the new hamsters... There were an all of empire turned into 0.0 space event...
There, me and some of my corp mates ran into a polaris frig... I took a show info on it, and it had around 250000 powergrid, fired torps, and easily tanked 10 battleships... :)

You run to the polaris frigs on the tranquility too sometimes. Last time I saw one was in pf- and it wasnt even targetable. Btw they can't be killed either if you could target them.. 99.99% resists in all if I remember right.

Thats not true as there are faction(s) way beyound the Jove. The Jove are going backwards as well there tech is no where near as good as it used to be.

Look at all the available Science skills in EvE. Pay particular attention to the skills that say that they allow you to utilize old and advanced technology.

You can type Yan Jung on the market screen and see the old skill book and artefacts. Along with the blueprints for their 1000+ year old equipment which matchÆs T2. Deltole System and that whole region is a good place to look for Yan Jung ruins and abandoned placeÆs. The Enheduanni are the ones who are at war with the Jove and the ones who caused the Jove to close all the gates into there systems. You are talking about the enigma's the ones that look alot like dramiel's and the other angel faction frigate. They are way different then the Polaris frig.
EDIT: miss-spelled enigma wrong. Think it should be correct now.

There Dev and they never got the boost's along with other ships so if they was seeded now they would be weaker than most T1 ships.
The Dev's do mod a few of them for event's like the one on the test sever along time ago had like 8m shield hp with a massive ammout of cap and like 10 second recharge easy tanking like 50+ battleships.
They might be added but i don't think it will be for a fair few year's maybe when we get around tec lvl 4-5 and thats a big maybe.

guys, take a look at what this GM loosed... in his cargo there was a eidolon blue print, Jovian battleship GM cloak and GM shield extender... how the <censored> ... how a simple rokh with t2 rail can destroy a ship with infinit shield and resist ? fake ? nub forgot to cloak ? =.= OMFGGGGG it still a jove bs bp

Polaris ships are not Jovian, they are GM. Jovian ships are powerful but not ridiculous (well, a little maybe)
Anyway, I really want a Lynx, I've loved that thing since the first time I saw it. I'd just fly up to things and flash them with my softly glowing headlight.
And, As Pottsey has already stated, there are others out there more powerful (in certain ways at least) than the Jove and the Jovians themselves are in more than a little trouble.
