You must not be very bright. The poster is not indicating anything apocryphal (if you can even understand that word).
And you obviously took it seriously by your post (troll or not).

Y2K wasnt apocryphal per se, it was fear over a computer glitch, so quoted poster isn't too far off in his analogy. And a sudden plunge in the sullen swell. Ten fathoms deep on the road to hell. |

lol ahhhhhhh Windows server? that means we all die in Eve on December 22nd because Redmond works off the old Mayan Calendar its true I hear that on leap day CCP has to sacrifice 100 hampsters to the local volcano to appease Bill Gates... a dozen HAMPSTERs already died an hour ago becuase they got word of it & during the ill timed escape attempt python choked on them causing the last node crash near HEK in the Sasha Incursion now 6 of them went rogue and are heading to the Drone regions... Would it comply with the EULA to create an alt on June 30th 2012 at 23:59:60 ? The game has a tutorial that gives you a mining laser and a railgun and tells you to go shoot rocks and red crosses. It teaches you nothing else. It's been that way for 8 years, so are you really surprised that there are people who aren't aware that this is a pvp game? --Jafit McJafitson |

I simply had to post in a troll thread. Again.
For the re-trollers : You know that the 29th of February has a deeper meaning right ? Look at it this way, 2 + 9 = 11 29th of February this year has one more day in it than February of 2011 Therefore 29 - 28 = 1 2012 -1 = 2011 IT'S A TARP !!

You must not be very bright. The poster is not indicating anything apocryphal (if you can even understand that word). And you obviously took it seriously by your post (troll or not). If Troll you must, then at least have the dignity to Troll well.....or inventively at least.
I'm sorry, did I offend your trolling sensibilities by pretending a troll post was serious, thereby trolling it by taking it seriously when it was clearly a troll itself?
As for the apocalypticalnessacality of the whole thing, that's where YOU fail, good sir, in believing that either "issue" would have ever been of such magnitude.
...which leads me to believe that you, too, bought all the media nonsense about Y2K.
(Or you're the OP in disguise and, as such, show symptoms of a slight case of the butthurt)

This thread is so full of epic win that I am seriously wondering if CCP have something up their sleeve for 29th of February. Perhaps an emergency reboot!? Please, yes, please please please! quote CCP Spitfire

I strongly suspect it would moan about invalid characters; moreover I'd put the odds of something like that actually executing in the "I misplaced a grain of sand in the Sahara - help me find it" category. It was merely a stab at add-on humour |

On the 29th, the Tuxford will be allowed 60 minutes alone with the server and an unlimited supply of alcohol. On March 1st, we start rebuilding EVE.
