Bit more than that, but there's no doubt we had a significant number advantage and lost. Great POS work by PL and great teamwork from the other side. No excuses; we took a beating. Greatness isn't just about winning; it's about dealing well with losses - and we'll be just fine. :)

Well ok, I'll do a small battle report so.
Fight started tonight with a word from Cov Opsses that BRUCE was gathering forces + capitals in PNQY. We assumed they were going to come down for our tower again, so we formed up maybe 20-30 guys in few carriers and mixed ships left behind from a defend op at the same tower few nights ago.
We got word that TRI had a gang of BSes looking for trouble, and so we mutually agreed to set temporary standings to have a nice little scrap @ the tower when BRUCE came in. TRI had 40 or so BS in their gang.
BRUCE caps entered POS grid, but did not enter siege since we had DB Neut batteries at the tower (which cost them an unfortunate dread on last attempt). Our gunners focused on fighters while we primaried some carrier and tried to ECM their carriers. It looked like the carrier migth have been slowly breaking thanks to the EW -- but a BRUCE Moros warped in from a safe spot and got caugh in a bubble out of range from their carriers.
All guns, curses and tri+pl ships obviously engaged the unfortunate Moros which dropped in quick order. BRUCE BS fleet at this time entered grid as well and started to knock out ECM batteries so presumably their capitals could remote rep each others. POS gunners slowly worked through the BRUCE BSes as lag at this stage was absolutely horrible. It took about 5min per manned gun to pop a BS due to lock & activation lag.
TRI gang being remote rep were also having difficulties due to lag -- so they left to rep @ SS. Lag again prevented from doing so -- therefore they pulled out to another system to rep up and assess situation.
Funnily enough -- once TRI left, lag disapeared (Dungar, even the servers hate you) and POS gunners were able to start working on hostile BSes in quick order (one every 40sec or so with large guns). Due to this -- BS fleet retreated from the field and we started to hunt for sieged dreads.
Moros followed by a Phoenix were unlucky thanks to catching them early in cycle with one DB Neut and 2x Curses still alive. BRUCE BS fleet came back a few time and we exchanged fire until they were forced off again with the POS guns.
Forth dread to fall was a Nag caugh towards the end of cycle, and he managed to leave siege in 25% structure. Unfortunately EW did their thing and the Nag dropped. We primaried a second Nag, it was going down however BRUCE BS fleet once again distracted us.
Remaining BRUCE dreads including the Nag we had been shooting cynoed (I think) out, and I was left cursing why wasn't I trying to scramble them with the tower constantly. Mistake was rectified by putting the two tower scrams on two carriers (FCes I believe), while we continued to slowly wear off all BRUCE battleships.
After a looooong while of fighting -- with awesome work from our remaining dictor pilots remote repped by logistics + carriers -- BRUCE was out of BSes.
Mark and Kithica were the last unlucky capitals to remain on field. They never tried to logoff/etc while on the field for a good hour or so jammed and scrambled + webbed.
Congratulations BRUCE for a ballsy attack. It was unlucky for you today, props for staying until the end however and learning I'm sure a lot. Hope your pilots had fun and the capital pilots remember it's easy to replace them and don't let it affect their spirits.

tbh what angel said was true, when we left i couldnt beleive what i was getting told. 'they got another carrier in hull' 'they just killed another one' etc etc.
