Egads, where do I start?

Hissin	Posted - 2008.04.13 06:55:00 - [1] I've been playing off and on for a few months and I currently have about 5.6m SP. I'm kind of at a loss as to where to continue training as the skills are starting to feel spread out. Running L3 missions in a cane is getting extremely boring. I started training minmatar BS in preparation for L4 missions but now I'm kind of stuck. The typhoon isn't a great option because frankly my missile skills suck (the I can't even use cruise kinda suck) and my shield skills suck for a maelstrom. I could probably use a tempest but all I hear is how bad the gun intensive ships are at L4 missions. My drone skills aren't too bad so I just started cross training for a Dominix. I figure if I can get a decent ship going for L4 missions then I can save up money as I try to flesh out more minmatar skills. Does this make any sense for my current position? Maybe throwing some points into mechanic and drones to get a respectable Dominix, and then focus elsewhere? Or would it be easier to get more missle skill and try for a typhoon? I'd appreciate any advice from those willing Here are my current skills
Barbicane TGUN Industries	Posted - 2008.04.13 11:14:00 - [2] The Typhoon is a very skill intensive ship and is not a good option for the first battleship. I think you are on the right track, starting with the Domi. It's a great mission ship which easily fits a good tank, and many of the skills you train for it can put to good use when (if) you decide to switch to a phoon.

With 1.2m SP in drones I don't really need guns on my ship. Originally by: welsh wizard stupid falcon pilots uncloak all the time coz they think they need to surface for air.
