I am realy trying too keep my mouth shut.. realy i am.

OffBeaT	Posted - 2008.04.13 08:59:00 - [1] Edited by: OffBeaT on 13/04/2008 08:59:15 For me insta worping from gate too gate/stations realy effects me in a bad way. i cant hang out around a gate and scan ship configs anymore befor i plane too engage them in combat. now with all these speed skills i have maxed out and other skills too have this ability too run gates/scan ships around gates, i find that i cant use them anymore becouse there is no freaking ships around the gates anymore if you dont got too do your 10sec dash too the gates/stations. i guess i am saying, why did i work these skills again & for what reason now and this is just the iceing of the problem too **** me off. What realy bugs me the most is the fact that the hole atmosphere of the game is gone, i dont see any ships anymore but i do see all kinds of people in chat in the systems but not talking not being what eve was a social game. when i was a noob in eve it was the best too see ships in empire moving too the gates people talking becouse they had the time too say somthing or too look around too see what people where saying & too be a noob and marval at the big ships moving back and through the gates. i could as a noob see what i could be in eve down the road. i wonted too have a ship like that, but now if i wont too see any of these grand ships i have too see it as a freaking pitcher in the market. comon, bring the feeling back of me being a small part of a grand pitcher in eve. man, insta jumps got to go for alot of reasons and not just can i gank this guy or not at a gate. i feel so alone out here in empire with just faces to look at to pass the time. Where are the freaken ships anymore? it dont feel right, like it did befor. give the noobs somthing in empire too look at and ponder about, like in life a trafic jam is a trafic jam and live with it.

I had an active account before this one for about three months before I quit due to school/family reasons. I've recently resubscribed, and the game feels 90% more empty. I almost never see other ships. Unless I'm in a gang with the corp the most I see are the occasional haulers (probably more than anything else) and, even less often, something random between a frig and a bs. If I hadn't sat in Jita a couple times on my previous account marveling at all the ships in the game, I would have no idea what most look like or that they even exist. Insignificant as all that is, the game just feels less immersive now. ah well. Edit: Don't get me wrong, I'd prefer having WTZ over not. Still kills the atmosphere though.

As we are not a pedant [attempt at humour], I don't think the OP's ability to spell/use paragraphs or construct coherent sentences is really the issue. You all understood what he meant and that is the important thing. With respect to what he actually said, it's clear he's trying to find suicide targets in high-sec and is having trouble coping with WTZ. In my view, he should stop care-bearing in empire and go and ply his trade in 0.0 or low sec, or start a few wars. Then he'll have plenty of targets.

In high sec. And then they are even called idiots as they weren't dashing from gate to gate. So they learn very fast that the best procedure is to dash around without losing time chatting in local or sightseeing.

It was better in my view because I enjoyed the long debates with Avon and Co about replacements for insta-bookmarks. But there were fundamental problems if you didn't have WTZ or instas. I don't know whether it's a good idea to go over those again. But now you have dictors, hics and bubbles, which you didn't have before. Yes, it's probably bad for random suicide gate ganking in high-sec, but I don't think that's a particularly high priority at CCP. The only way I see WTZ being taken out of the game is if the devs implemented a new rule that made it impossible to create bookmarks next to warp gates or stations (in space. not the stations themselves.) They could insert some kind of RP element about the space around warp gates being too unstable or something. Unfortunately, that's probably not going to happen. The only thing I see that could bring the previous immersion/atmosphere back is possibly ambulation. But that's just speculation. eve-online.com
