Simple question really, is it possible to man POS guns in high sec`?

No. You can't get capitals in high-sec, so a POS can only be attacked by Battleships and smaller. Having manned guns would make a well defended highsec POS invulnerable.

Used to be true but several people I know who have high sec poses have been training it up since Trinity. They claim you can use it now but I haven't tried it myself as I don't have high sec poses or the skill.

Yes you can man POS guns in high sec, this was changed last patch.

Well I believe it was always the intention of CCP to allow manning of POS guns in high sec. When the patch releasing this was put on however they kinda forgot about a POS gunner being able to target anyone warping to your moon and popping them without consequence. So it was taken out rather quickly until it was fixed, which it now has. You can only target war targets or those which are agressed.

I can confirm (from personal experience) that it is indeed possible to man POS turrets in high sec space.
