She's talented, beautiful, her voice is unique, she has something which is almost unexpressable kinda poetic and mystical, you either get it or you don't, and what kind of a question is that? "What do you find good about her?" do you find something not good about her? As for the song, it's your opinion you find it depressing people are different and like different things, most of the time we can't really explain why we like certain things. I could say Tarja's voice, the lyrics, the melody etc. but this is kinda obvious by what I said the first post.

I would have to agree, many songs are written for a particular singer, or else a person has to be exceptionally talented to reinterpret them. Anette did her best songs beautifully, but had a noticably difficult time with Tarja's material. When singing Sirens, it was apparent that she could not hold the notes long enough, she needed to break up into three sounds something Tarja could do in one long continuous breath. This was all the more ironic considering the name of the song. This is no reflection on character or skill, it is a simple matter of capability. EVE CCG Trinity Booster

Totally agree with you, when she walked on stage everyone went wild and I don't think the males liked that one bit, but the lead singer is pretty much always envied for the adoration they recieve from the fans. If it wasn't for Tarja I don't think Nightwish would have ever achieved what they achieved. -------------

I like the music on their last album much better than their previous stuff, I just don't like hearing their new female lead straining to try and hide her limited vocal ability (this is truly painful to watch during their live performances).
