hi
3 dcu 1 cap remote armor rep 1 amarr navy large smarty
mid 2 heavy cap injector 2 w/ 800 charges 2 sensor booster 2 1 free slot still can decide what to put there
lows cap armor rep x2 active thermal / kinetic / explosive passive em
rigs 2 ccc 1 explosive
gives me 70+ resists across the board and can run for as long as i have 800 charges as long as i dont run the remote rep constantly
ideas on the setup and for the last low slot?

your mids are terrible
you should have ether 4x cap recharger II 1x SB II
or 5x cap recharger II
and you dont need the passive EM energized plate, an EANM would do much better in that spot.
Drop a DCU for another smarbomb or a cloak. -------------

the reason for this is so you have cap to run your 2 cap armor reps, which can and will drain your cap fast.
now according to EFT.(laugh if you want but if you want to fly a carrier, you need good skills) with 5 cap rechargers, it last 18 minutes. with 2 cap boosters, it last 21 minutes. But lets subtract the reload cycle and it gets back down to about 18 minutes.
But wait there is more, you need to carry fuel to get around, which can be quite a large chunk of your cargo hold.
Secondly if you are battleing lag, your going to need a passive forever running setup , if you have to constantly be reloading your 800s your not going to be able to turn them on and keep them on.

Well if you actually have the Carrier, try your setup vs a cap recharger setup and see which works better. EFT doesn't tell you everything.

Highs: Remove the dcu's, fit a cloak/neut, second remote rep and second smartbomb. Mids: all rechargers, if cloak, one sensorbooster with scan res. Lows: 2x rep, 3x hardener 1x dcu, or 2x rep 2x eanm 1x dcu 1x cpr. Rigs: 3x ccc, no bloody exceptions.

my gimped thanatos:
2x remote rep 1x DCU 1x neut 1x smartbomb
4x cap recharger t2 1x shaodw serp sensor booster
2x cap reppers 3x amarr navy ean 1x dcu t2
3x ccc rigs
fitting injectors on a carrier is rather stupid. especially when you need to cyno a few times... are you going to inject your cap full every time before you need to jump again ? by the time you get to the fight your out of cap boosters probably and when you need to get out of that hostile system.. you wount have enough cap recharge to help out. allways fit rechargers.... injectors are stupid. and who ever posted the thanatos fit on the thread is a damn noob who has no clue :P ---------------------------------- Yes... this is my main.
