ok nerfing carriers why ??
their exspencive as hell nerfing it would make it little more use than a battle ship leave the bloody things alone and just improve the craps ones some so their eqaul.
if they get nerfed then i sugest the cost comes down too as it wouldnt be worth the investment any more they already screwed with the hauling capabilities now they are thinking of drone control nerf
these devs need to improve the poor ships not nerf the good stuff a carrier should be able to feild its own sqaudrons of fighters thats what they do and what the name means.
if it was meant for support it wouldnt have fighter drones it would have huge repair drones,
quite frankly nerfing things is anoying the hell out of people why nerf take the myrm for instance ??? that was a great boat its not any ones fault their not galante and if they train in the skill they too could use the ship..
trying to make the races eqaul is silly you might as well all be galante. and fly the same ships because all that will be left is asthetics.
take the races the minmatarr are **** heads their tech is behind in time and their still using bloody gunpowder to fire bullets.
so that means that their ships should show their lack in tech balancing them will offset the races and their factional role play as well as ingame histories and stories.
amarr should be well superior in some way god knows how but it should the caldari again not so technologically advanced as the reads would sugest.
and then their is galante sort of in the middle, nerfing things just ruins the game make the races and the backgrounds more apparent i say and reflect it in their ships, doing this will improve role play to the game or it could force every one into the better tech ships.
all that should change really is the price nothing else.
bring their costs down for the **** ones and make the good ones pricey and then its worth it.
thats my oppionion only.
does any one catch my drift.

Nerf Carriers. Make them cheaper.
Don't nerf carriers. Balance them all so price remains the same.

i have missed a fair amount of sleep so i dont personally care what you think of me i was haveing my oppinion on carriers thats all.
and yea the spellings do suck :)
and you really need to keep those personal opinions to your self their not very well liked, use constructive criticism buy all means but insults are just plain rude bro.

If i neglect the spelling, it sort of get your drift, Telling people off on how they write while drunk isn't my pass time. Anyhow; Who is nurfing carriers? I really can't find anything about that.
In regards to nurfs, Balancing has always been a part of eve, so live with it.

lol you guys are really getting off on my spellings ok ok im a man i can suck it up keep it comming, i do think nerfs suck though.
this forum **** is like rocket science didnt realise i need a degree to post a thread and then have it checked buy out of work teachers.

oh yea i read some devs on how their going to limit the carrier to only 5 drones controled no matter what to use multiple drones it is said that we would have to asign them rather than being able to launch 15 at any one time.
ill try find the link but this whole nerfing busines is a load of old crap.

lol. caps should be massively, massively massively more of an investment than they are. I don't think that even a carrier should be a personal investment.. it just seems ridiculous to me. I think there should be an upkeep fee based on the size of the crew required to fly each ship and like repairs and maintenance fees, I think that running ANY capital ship should be a friggen operation. and they should be big the way they are intended to be big.. problem with carriers is that they have to fit in stations.. that's why they look so small compared to battleships.. .well i think even that could be fixed. maybe carriers and dreads should have a huge hanger space and then there would be smaller, more homey-ish spaces for smaller ships.. i just think the size could be even more believable. I think if they were ridiculously overpriced for their worth it would make MORE sense.

yea that would be an idea helios,
i was refering to the drone's nerf of only 5 controlled and also some other threads about how minmatarr is crap comped to the other carriers. |

I am most certainly of the opinion that carriers should retain their drone count. I'd even like to see it boosted. A moros does more dps from its 5 ogre's that most carriers do with their 10 fighters. This doesn't seem right to me. the minmatar carriers are not inferior to the other races as they can fit into either an armor or shield tanking carrier fleet. ppl really need to accept the bonuses for what they are worth instead of training for the thanatos because omg dps

i think thats what they have already tried to do but thats just the same as swapping skins really.

again good point the bonuses are the bonuses and they are what they are and that is silly 5 ogre's more dps that needs fixing.
