No, but you get lots of emails telling you how pretty it is now. So you log in and go, still no legs, change skill and log out again.

Just a few more hours until I get ground up. For those who have never done that, it sounds really interesting. Just shredded my alt and she went down with a nice juicey grid and scream.
As for the arguement of making one's own goals, that is fine and well, but I figure if I am going to pay to do something entertaining then I should not have to do the work to MAKE it entertaining. If I want to make an entertaining game through my own work then I will just a RPG for my Mate for free.
As for life being a grind, tell me about it, I feel my soul being ground into fine dust every day by my job, but what can you do right? At least there are fun entertaining things like SSB Brawl to lessen the pain. I will put my uber grinding skills to collecting all the trophies, music, and stickers long before I submit them to the much more tedious task of grinding in EvE again.
My last farewell (as this is my last post) is that I think what really happened is that EvE was fun so long as there was another new ship to fly, another new item to use, and when all that happened quickly in the first few months and I was experiencing the "New" and getting to see all the possibilities of the new ships it was exciting...Then I got all the new shiney ships I wanted to fly...Then I got all the new equipment I wanted to use...and things just got boring. Nothing "New", nothing exciting. I could do whatever I felt like doing but there just did not seem to be a good point anymore. Helping Newbs up the ranks was somewhat rewarding but it got a little bit repetitive after awhile...
Many have worried that I would want to return and that I would not want to grind up my SP again, but you know if the skill system is still this way at that time I will not want to come back anyway. I do not mind long skills like you face in Elder Scrolls but skills that train irregardless of what your character is actually DOING that take inane amounts of time for no real reason just seems poorly played for any reason other than to drag out subscription time and make money.
At any rate, I digress, good bye to you all, and may you all be blessed to not suffer lack of interest or dissapointment as I have. May you have interesting lives. +++++++++++++++ For the LAST time...
