Edited by: shwarzkauph on 15/04/2008 12:43:58 I have been been exploring a certain region for quite a while with my main, who shall remain nameless, and only come across "unknown" signatures. My skills are more than sufficient to find any and all sites, im looking for gravimetric specifically, but keep coming across only 1 type.
Could it be that certain signatures do not appear in some areas? Anyone else notice this problem?
I have been exploring the same 30 or so systems for weeks and no luck.

You just finding unknowns is purely a coincidene.
*) Other players nailing Radar/Mag sites.
*) Your region just having "period".
*) You set your scanner wrong, since anything else than Signatures will all return unknown on hits.
*) Any combination of the above scenarios.

Only ladar sites are limited to certain regions(constellations even) other kinds of signatures can be found anywhere

Trust me, im not making a mistake. Ive been doing this for a long time. I usually find many different types of sites but since moving into a certain 0.0 region i have found nothing but unknowns. But, of course You are right, I could be getting to these systems after others have been there and found the other sites, but then it usually takes some time for other pilots complete these sites, so I doubt I would miss all of them.

Let me guess, you're in a drone region. * * * In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Being in a drone region means exploration sucks.
