As a fitting first news item, shares have been transferred with the exception of those belonging to Mr Horizontal.

This is a noob question but i am new to IPO's and such so forgive me AC155.
What i'd like to know is how many times a month you will give feedback on the progress and what lenght of time you 'think' of running this IPO.Just out of curiousity.

As far as reporting goes, atleast 1 per month when I issue the monthly report. As far as how long I plan on running this thing, I don't have a set or even a rough end date. I plan on running it as long as it is profitable or until something comes up that causes me to have to close it.
On another note, all isk has been received and shares transferred.

Explanations:
This first month was a learning experience not only in record keeping but also in figuring out how best to work my plan. I think I have gotten things sorted now an hopefully I can use my capital in a more efficient and effective manner.
My other activities represents a small amount of market fun and fuel deliveries. My deliveries were down from previous months not because of decreased demand but rather because of my hectic schedule this past month. I'm an IT instructor and April/May is my busy month with students graduating and such.
The 1bill loss is not so much a loss due to a failed activity but rather an attempt to better position myself for success. That's about all I can say about that for now as its effect is still unknown.
All in all I think this first month was a success and I had a lot of fun with this and hope that continues. And now for a few announcements.
Announcements:
The IPO began on April 20th so I will from here until its closing continue to issue dividends and reports on the 20th of each month unless someone has a major issue with this. I did not mention that in the original IPO document but thought it needed to be addressed (Thanks Shar).

Two things:
1. I think this is the first month this IPO has been active.

I believe he intends to edit the original post with the current months dividend information, as well as leaving a historical post in place in the thread for each month. Just my guess however.

This is correct. This way you can get the most current info in the first post of the thread but you can also search through the entire thread to see historical data on the IPO.

Yes you did invest, or atleast you sent me 1 bill after making a 1 bill reservation. Also, this is the first month of the IPO as someone else stated. Sorry for the confusion and lack of an explanation as to why I posted the data twice. I saw how Hexxx recently updated the ebank thread with a post at the end as well as an edit to the original post and I thought it looked like a good idea.

Explanations:
As you can see the dividend payment is much lower than last month. This is not because of a drop in the success of the IPO but rather because of several RL events that some of you know about and others won't know about. I was also on vacation for a week and did not do any business during that time.
You might also note that I have not taken a salary for this month. This is in part because of the RL events I mentioned above and also to infuse isk back into the corp wallet because of a loss due to a miscalculation on my part.
Announcements:
The poker service that I use has recently upgraded their client and also implemented some new payout changes. The changes add DT and TT which basically means the top 3 players on a table all get double or triple their buy-in. This essentially means there is no motivation to place first but instead to simply place in the top 3. This does increase the changes of winning pots, but it also means that the pots are smaller and it causes the tables to run longer than before. Once 4 players are left, no one wants to continue playing to win but rather they all play to stay in the top 3. The normal games are still around but they are not popular since people have a greater chance of winning a put if the top 3 all get the same amount. The upside to this is more people are playing which means there is more isk in the games and more games. I am trying to get used to the change and adjust my strategy to take advantage of the changes.

On a sidenote i'd like to sell my shares since i need the isk myself atm.I have shares worth 3 bille and would like to sell them for the original 1 mille per share.I however will only sell batches of 500 mille and higher.If anyone is interested please eve mail me.
I'd like to add that this is because i need the cash and has nothing to do with my trust in this IPO.If no one is interested i'll keep the cash in the IPO and will try to get my isk elsewhere for my own tradingdeal that i have upcoming.

Explanations:
Profits increased this month while total play time decreased. The increase in profits with a decrease in playing time is do to a change in strategy.
There has been an increase in the number of players at the poker tables, but most of these players are at the ring games which I have found do not yield good results in the long run. I have been using the ring tables to my advantage as part of my new strategy and it appears to be working better than expected. This is also the reason for the larger amount of isk won/lost. I have had to do a bit of "marketing" for reasons of self preservation, or more specifically IPO preservation. Honestly, if someone were to employ the right strategy, it would be very easy to make 20bill+ in profits in a single month but you would only do it for that 1 month because people would get tired of losing. I wish I could go into more detail but doing so would not be beneficial to my operations, for obvious reasons.
Announcements:
I arrived in Arizona today to spend the next week playing golf and relaxing with my family. This is why I am paying dividends a day early as I have eve access right now but am not sure how often I will be logging in during the next week.

There are currently no shares available for sale. You might be able to buy some from a current shareholder that's looking to get rid of them.

Due to recent events and changes to the gambling services of Eve, Amarr's W_Horehouse will be closing its doors. I have begun the buyback of shares at their purchase price of 1 million per share. I guestimate that this was my 3rd best MD investment to date after the original Plato Fund and my own Ugly Toys IPO. Obviously I am compelled to say that this is not bad company to be in!

Congratulations Amarr on your succesful ipo.
I always thought it was possible to make isk in Eve by playing poker,and youve proved it month after a month thats its possilbe to make alot of isk this way. As long as you have a bankroll and good management skills of the bankroll.

I also believed that this kind of ipo had the potential to compete with and even beat some of the best ipo's out there.

Please consider this IPO officially closed and all shareholders' original investments returned plus the 80% returned over the life of the IPO.
There are a couple of shareholders who have not responded to my repeated attempts to make contact with them. I will hold their isk until they decide to come back to eve or decide to respond.
