I seriously hope you did not use all those matchsticks for smoking, because by the time your done with a Titan you will have emphazyma.
Seriously though, this is some awsome work. Great Job! I did some matchstick models during highschool, made a replica of the house I was living in, unfortunatley it got detroyed by Dogzilla.
Maybe I should get back into it, I never got as detailed as yours are, but Mitari ships seem to be perfect for it, their all right angles. Now if you could pull off a Gallente ship, I would recomend you for a RL art award.

I really wish CCP would introduce actually authentic models of all the ships in EVE in the EVE Store. My personal dream model - I want a authentic Dragonfly that measures about a meter from tip-to-tip of the wings. I'd proudly hang that in my living room.
This is but one of many EVE-O model ships I would pay through the nose for.

Are these models massive or hollow? eg. do you start with a solid base or only build a shell? As others have suggested some other ships that would be welll suited would include the rifter, nag a ms (i dislike the nyx tbh, wyvern wins)

He offered to make/sell me a Dragonfly to large scale as I said before in a previous post (Drool). I was VERY tempted for sure, however I had more in mind a authentic one that has the right texture and color, not matchsticks.
To the OP: I wouldn't be surprised if you set up a shop thread on the forum where people can make orders, you would have a small business; a lot of EVE lovers eyes would light up.
Maybe if that is done, that will show CCP in example on the point of selling models - I suppose it can be expensive to manufacture though, but I suppose we have to leave the fate of the models in whoever is in charge of EVE's marketing. |

The other problem I'd have with commissioning the OP to make me one is that I don't think it'd be safe with me. The ships he's done are just so beautiful, I don't think I could treat it properly. It makes me want to cry just imagining if something bad happened to it.
I think I'd be better off with little metal models.

I knew someone that did work like this, which is just top notch.
I think they use a wood burning tool (looks like a soldering iron) and sometimes a small gas powered pencil torch.
Oh, and a lot of patience.
You don't do this in a day.. takes many weeks to months.
