Hello to all!
I am new to EVE. I started playing recently after searching for a long time for a game that could statify my hunger for complexity, and fun. I've played just about every MMO that has been released in the last 8 years, many for long periods of time. I previously tried EVE 2 years ago, but couldn't get into it. However, the game has changed quite a bit in the last 2 years, and I have become totally engrossed in it. Now, for the resume:
8 years MMO experience
Stong motivation to learn
Number cruncher, researcher--I read the forums, fan-sites, utilize all available resources
High play time--I ususally play 6 hours a day during work days, and 12+ during days off.
Keen listener--I'm in the US Navy, and as such, can take orders, and can listen effectively to those orders given.
I am under 900K SP, as i just started a few days ago, but please, don't let that be a deturrent to you accepting me in.
In regards to what I seek in EVE: I'm looking to blow stuff up, so PVP/Piracy/Merc is what im shooting for (no pun intended). Also, if accepted, I am extremely loyal, and will pull my part (time warranting). Because of the aforementioned, i'm looking for a well-established corp, one that can help me grow in knowledge of the game, and can provide me with a permanent, fun home.

Thats understandable. Rules are rules. I wouldn't be much help in 0.0 at this time anyways.

Hey Mate,
Dirty Deeds is recruiting right now, and you may fit right in... We are a Roaming Alliance, we go around through 0.0 blowing up anything we can find. We roll in 10-30 man gangs normally to reduce lag and such. We try to stay away from Blob and POS warfare, they are normally pretty boring and laggy. We only have 1 alliance we are blue with so plenty of targets to go all around. We have a decent amount of Euro TZ and a large US TZ base.

Thanks for all the awesome replies. Not looking to change to Minmatar, since they are my least favorite race, but considering some of the other offers.
Still looking though. Looking for a corp with a BIG alliance--more people = more fun.

Hey there Fade,
By far the largest starter/n00b corp in game is Eve University with more than 1500 players from all timezones.
IIRC they are closed for recruitment at this time due to an existing war.
You are welcome to give Rock Lobster a try if you want and if you decide that we are not a good fit look elsewhere down the road. We are a small corp now looking to grow and would love to have some more faces in corp chat.

Yea--before I joined i made a plan of what i wanted to do. EVE University was part of that plan, then i found out they weren't recruiting. Thats too bad, another crusier is another crusier.
