Brush the sand out and take off the tin-hat, because, reading what you have posted, there is nothing nefarious going on. Also, it's funny how a change of allegiance changes your outlook on things. IIRC, not too long ago, MC were BOB pets, and now, having bit the hand of their masters, have "gone goon". Having nothing but empire time myself, I couldn't give a rats ass about your childish alliance politics, so why not go post on Something Awful, or some other trash rag, and stop trying to get everyone riled up about nothing.

I think you underestimate just how important that information can be in strategic planning. However its for ME to say how important that information is to ME. And I want my copy of it too, in the same format the BOB map maker is getting - and with indications of the implementation timescale too. Sir Molle says : Mynas is Dead!

I think you underestimate just how important that information can be in strategic planning. However its for ME to say how important that information is to ME. Serenity has signed an nda or some such and wouldn't even tell us anything even if we had asked, which we havn't. So no this is not being used to plan our strategy in the future. You really shouldn't be throwing stones in glass houses though as jake and cflux said we got some choice cuts from mc too.

If we accept your notion that a BoB ALT is being provided secret information about upcoming content and is breaking the non-disclosure agreement CCP almost certainly had them sign (risking who knows what legal hassle and real world monetary loss) to tell the BoB leadership what advantage, exactly, has BoB gained? - A Dev came here and said things like moon mins cannot be discerened till it goes live on TQ. - You can buy the maps yourself prior to release it sounds like. - You can have a good long look on SiSi prior to release and gather all that same info if you wish. Going with your conspiracy theory at best BoB gets a few more weeks to think about it but really, since you will likewise know a few weeks prior to release anything they could know as well, then they have gained no discernable advantage. And don't start on me about posting with an ALT. I figured his character being made into a scapegoat for MC's problems was mostly PR and political. But wow, that is some inferiority complex. Grasping at imaginary straws is what people tried last year, when everyone under the Sun accused BoB of cheating without a shred of logic. Assuming Serenity Steele was a BoB alt (which he's not), any sharing of information is completely irrelevant if everyone is getting the same chance to fly around before TQ release. Even in the worst case scenario where one alliance knows the layout before it hits TQ, there is absolutely no advantage because the most important decision to make is whether or not you want to move into this new space.
