Edited by: SilentKnifez on 21/04/2008 21:10:01 lets even out the game field, get some heavy webification ships, its a good way to fix nano issues. Its about time we'd get em , not huginns and rapier, something with a field generator |

Nah...
Nothing wrong with Nano's - only individuals with little skill, or no friends should fear them.

Define blobbing for me.
I can tell you that we usually bring just enough mixed gang members to truly crap on your day. We also jump into outnumbered situations and win those too, depends on your gang mix.

Edited by: InSession on 21/04/2008 21:20:31 The Minmatar Mafia has no problem combating nano gangs. Our fleet of Vaga's and Huggins make quick work of them . You should try recruiting Minmatar only into your corporation and then you won't find a need for a Heavy Webber.
PS: Curse combats nano ships as well.

Oh well the typical eve definition of eve blobbing is:
a) more players than you have. b) more skilled players than you have. c) flying better ships than you (even if equal odds)
So basically it's a crap shoot tbh. What Gaming Dev's really think of you! |

I treasure the memory of seeing "Nice blob" in local after helping pop someone's ship.
I was in a gang of 4, and we fought 2 ships. Both of them had engaged a single ship in our gang when he was on his own.
Nice blob indeed.

No.
Just have a new class of web modules (benefit from same role/ship/skill bonuses) but which burn more cap the more initial intertia they have to reduce.
Currently webbers don't really web, they just damp engines, hence very fast moving ships skoot back out of web range and fly away.
Now I can fit both types on my recon, kill the nanofags speed (cost me cap), and keep them there (cost me a lot less cap).

This is the best post
I have found that empire carebears have a very unique definition of 'blob'.
Aka, a 10-15 man gang being a blob. _____________________________________________________________________________
