Afternoon.
Believe it of not Insurgency is actually still alive and kicking .
Id like to make this post to give an exact report on whatÆs going on In the north.
It all started around 1 week ago, We had planned a massive campaign for 14/15th April, this was to be against targets that were causing us trouble, they were not blue or neutral.
It was becoming obvious through contacts that the north was being played, It seemed to me that all the major alliances were under the impression they were the targets, which they werenÆt.
So anyway, on the 14/15th of this month the north combined with one purpose ôto remove INSRGö. EVE continued its trend of everyone banding together to take on one enemy. One by one the northern alliances who were blue to us placed us red, I can only assume at the orders of RZR and MM.
Believe what you want about numbers and so on from the various forums but on that day all the north assembled a fleet 800 strong, I donÆt want to argue about exact numbers because 800 is what our scouts found in the various diff fleets, so thatÆs that. At the same time our fleet was 270.
So the first fight?,we decided that if we could hold our cyno jammed entry system we would stand a chance, the order was given for the entire fleet to hold the BKG gate in ZK.
The enemy fleets slowly moved into position, BKG was 550, this was mostly RZR, ME, stellar, and a few other alliances. On the OP9 gate assembled MM and mostly harmless. The order was given that the BKG must be held. We knew this allowed MM and MH to jump in and assemble, but we canÆt be everywhere.
MM and MH jump in and warp to snipe spots outwith the range of our capital fleet, our own BS fleet expertly commanded engages this. This is the frustrating part as our cap fleet watches, lag isnÆt al the bad.
Now the MASSIVE enemy fleet in BKG decides now is a good time to jump in, can anyone say LAG?, does 1000 ppl in one system eve work? . Our capital fleet is now the only thing that holds the gate as our BS fleet is being drawn into the MH/MM fight.

45 mins go by and still the capital fleet can only see a single ship at a time, oooops. Massive desync maybe or just lag?. If we log out will we be able to log back in?. we order a single pilot to test this, he logs out then back in, this takes a while, but he appears at the gate, ermmm guys I count massive amounts of enemy BS sitting on top of our capitals, we log out and then back in, in groups. 100s of enemy BS are destroyed along with our own BS fleet, 1 carrier is lost. The enemy made a mistake, it looked like an attempt was made to crash the node, we knew a coin was flipped that could have seen us lose our entire capital fleet. We won the toss.
As the week went on the enemy kept on attacking. Most of our home systems had low lvl sov meaning no jammers, QCWA and ZK were the only sov 3 systems, on a number of times the enemy fleets attempted attacks on the jammers, each time they were countered mostly thanks to our own capitals.
Last night our enemies assembled a massive fleet again with the purpose of attacking our ZK jammer. Friends to INSRG in these alliance had already pre-warned us of a large enemy capital fleet ready to jump in, this had multiple Titan support. In a crazy move by INSRG capitals we decided to try and save the jammer when it was in 35% armour, if we jumped in and the jammer went down we would have been a world of hurt.. We go for it, load times are shocking, ppl try and lock the the jammer to rep it, its damage is stabilised, ermm no its not, THE JAMMER IS DOWN. Enemey cyno opens on top of our capital fleet which is miles out of the force fields. Our pos gunners can shoot nothing, guns if they even appear do not activate
Luckily our enemy must be having the same problems as us at this time as no capitals are lost in the combat, one of our MS does though have to overload mods.
The jammer POS is then reinforced.
At state of play today 1 week into this thing we are resigned to the fact that we will lose 4DTQ, we still have sov 3 in Z-K and QCWA, we have now gained sov 3 in EQI as of yesterday. D4R should have sov 3 by tomorrow but only if our own pos are saved.
While we are trying to take on the massive combined alliances against us a TRI capital fleet commanded by the now removed TRI leader ANGEL attacked some of our POS structures in venal. TRI are red to us but I knew they would not combine with all the north against us so we assumed this must have been a mistake, Other enemy alliances decided to take the chance and finish the pos. we donÆt have much luck do we, haha.

Iv posted this as Insurgency has decided to make a forum ban, this as you can see from my write up isnÆt because we are being slaughtered, it isnÆt because we are losing all of our space, its because of the massive amounts of coward spies and alts trying to spin things that they have no clue about.
Every single part of my personal wallet is spent on this alliance, all alliance income is given back to the members. INSRG will fight until it becomes no fun. All leaders are united, morale is shockingly high. Corps still apply. Nothing has changed we enjoy the situation as victories against the odds are better than 100 victories because you blobbed out your enemy.
Can we win this war alone against RZR, PURE, MM, mostly harmless, stella, majestic, CO2 and the others? of course we cant, the only entities in EVE that could overcome these massive numbers are BOB, maybe TRI. We are a young alliance Full of heart though.
So the fight continues, now IRON have removed us from + standings, these are ppl we have helped out on a number of different times asking for nothing in return. Can we expect you guys here soon?, I say bring it on u cowards.
Whatever happens over the next few weeks or months INSRG stand united. Win lose or whatever ill make sure the boys and girls have fun.

Well, darth, you do have HUGE odds against you but what can I say but to adapt a quote from another Eve leader "you are better than them". So go get them, in the end Insurgency will still be there, maybe without sovereignty but that has never stopped you before from having daily pvp fun.

I suspect this evening will see another confrontation. I've requested that the node be reinforced if that's possible. I've seen reports that this is no longer possible, not sure if that's theorycraft, a result of recent upgrades or a switch in policy from CCP.
Either way I'm hoping we get some good fights tonight and I'm looking forwards to seeing what we can do :)

MM, RZR, IRON etc cowardice knows no bounds. They can't do anything by themselves. Only thing they can do is band together like a bunch of homos and attack a smaller target. I feel for INSURG. The only alliance to make the north something that is not a joke is now going to be steamrolled by the other monkeys. Its a fuggin disgrace to Eve tbqfh.

I used to think a lot of bad stuff about insurgency, now I take them thoughts back and salute you all.
Standing up to far greater numbers and making every ship count is a far greater achievement than blobbing the **** out of a system and winning through 3-1 odds *before anyone quotes me, I been in BOB about 20 seconds).
Respect darth and your merry men, I hope you give them somoe pain and massive losses for there trouble.

nice post darth, not that i really care about the situation in the north, but...
if its all about the fun as you say, tell me.. why recruit members and corps that have now pushed your numbers to 2000+?
one must be a fool to think that those numbers will get you cool fights without lag and stuff. when will people learn and stop this stupid stuff? your enemies will (need to?!) assemble even bigger numbers as you see, also cause of game mechanics like cynojammers and so on if there is no time zone advantage to take them out without much trouble.
with rumours about tri may come to assist you.. well just wanting some oportunities for some super cap kills and not pos hugging that is for sure, your enemies will want to have even more of a number advantage.

I look forward to some fun fights in the near future - and i think what darth is getting at is that it's never been about isk/stations/sov for us. we want fun/good fights and if you are willing to provide 500 targets, we're willing to slaughter every last one

I approve of any IRON, RZR or MM member that clicks the 'report' knob above your post. I may even do it myself.
First- Wether or not a numerical advantage is cowardice or strategy is a different discussion, our opponents are definately not the "run & hide" type of cowards.
Second- The homosexual podpilot is the heterosexual podpilot's equal in every way. Ask BB and the MGRL.
Third- We have not been steamrolled just quite yet. Rickrolled, yes. Steamrolled, no.
