Just turned the big 50.
It all started with the Atari 800 (still have a 400 with the "MacDonalds" keyboard in a box somewhere). When I hear Star Trek, I still think of the old mainframe game...lol
Nothing like playing Eve with a beer and a Geritol!

Apparently she was an extra in the Calender Girls.
Does that thought turn you on Josh? -------------------------------------------- Dead

Edited by: Tallis Sessine on 26/04/2004 08:38:54 Edited by: Tallis Sessine on 26/04/2004 08:38:16 I had a feeling Eve would appeal to an oldish crowd (in MMORPG terms - I'm 35. Wonderful to read about the player who's 74 - hail to the internet

This is so cool, we got alot older players and generally i always felt that way because of the more mature aproach from most players. My corpmate is 45+ years, i dragged him into this game and he is my best online buddy for years now. I hope to play many games for many years with him, i know for sure that the ammount of older players in the future will only rise. Who the hell would like to play cards when they can put on a headset and imitate Darth Vader? __________________________

WOW, there's a lot of us 37 year olds flying around in the EVE universe.
Holy crap though, 70??? That's how old my mom is and there is no way she'd play EVE.....it's all I can do to get her to play solitaire.

Im 34 and have been playing computer games since i was 12. started on the zx-81 then had a speccie. Amiga followed then a mega drive, Jaguar 64 bit then a playstation. followed that with a dreamcast then bought the best console by far.. the Xbox, and had a pc for a while too. I used to love playing elite and frontier. I had been waiting for an elite style game for years then suddenly EVE pops up. My dad whos now 63 and enjoys the odd computer game reckons I should grow up but if growing up means turning into an old fart who only gets enjoyment by playing dominoes and drinking bitter then bugger that. I intend to be playing games after they have nailed my coffin lid shut :)
Oh and just for the record so you get an idea of what people who play eve actually do for a living, I work for the MOD, cant say what department though hehe. ----/ / /-----<[]>-----\ \ \---- Head of House Rahl Warleader of the Rahl Clans
