Hanneshannes	Posted - 2008.04.25 02:42:00 - [1] Heh, I had that container locked to tractor it in Damsel in Distress lvl 4 and activated a launcher on it by accident, sorta ending the damsel's distress in a fireball. Is there any way to get a dasmel without waiting for the mission to reset after DT? I can't cancel it because I'm afraid that my agent wont let me do any missions for her anymore. I just got access to her (working my way up with Spacelane atm).

The faction and standing hit you take for turning down a mission is not that bad about.8%. Just don't let it happen on story line mission. Next time don't post it.
Hanneshannes	Posted - 2008.04.25 02:52:00 - [3] Where did I finish it? I can't bring the damsel back so I can't finish it. Is the damsel the same as the one you get from lvl 3? if so ill dust off my good old drake and find meself a lvl 3 damsel in distress or a lvl 2 even.

Asmosis	Posted - 2008.04.25 04:06:00 - [6] Easy answer, just petition it. If your mission critical loot has been destroyed (either by accident or pirate etc) they can reset it for you. I've had to do that a couple of times (once me activating weapons while tractoring, once from enemy salvager blowing it up).

If you're careless enough to blow something like that up you should take it on the chin. The only time I think you should be able to get a mission reset for lost items is if another player blows them up before you can get to them. I don't think it mattered at that point, we were already bargaining with missile launchers and railguns.

Myself, I have often WANTED to do it, but just wasn't ballsy enough. Personally, I blame MTV.
