800x600 locked in window mode - Work around?

Posted - 2008.04.25 19:31:00 - [1] Wondering if anyone can help me, Im trying to run Eve in window mode for resolution 800x600 but there isnt an option for that resoultion! It seems to be locked at 1024x768, I have a widescreen laptop that runs windows vista in 1280x800.. I wanted it to run 800x600 so I can keep an eye on eve while mining and typing up some work at the same time, someone has told me to look for a file called prefs.ini in my eve folder but there isnt any config files I can find for eve.. Can anyone help? Cheers! Toilet-Duck Hi, close the game and try changing your desktop resolution, then run the game and see if more resolution modes appear. I have this problem when I try to change to 1152x864 while I have my desktop spanned over 2 monitors and to fix that I have to switch back to single monitor mode. Which then lets me select the 1152x864 resolution, hope this helps GL /edit Humm I don't think there actually is any 800x600 window mode in eve
Hoshi Black Water.	Posted - 2008.04.26 09:28:00 - [3] Eve doesn't officially support any resolution below 1024x762. One thing you could try is set your desktop resolution to 800x600, then go to full screen with that res and then back to window mode. It should now be in 800x600 window mode.
