My oldest surviving ship is a Hound Stealth Bomber. It must be covered in dust as it's in a station that RA took during the LV days. Maybe one day I'll see it again, but until then O7 -- 2d EveMaps My blog

Let me know if you're looking for a replacement. This is probably my favorite ship at the moment. That, or the Onyx. Not building the Onyx, (yet) though. --

Edited by: Poht on 26/04/2008 12:28:27 My Megathron with the rail setup, used bf I even joined The Priory back in the day, which makes it a very old ship. I started pvp'ing when I joined the priory and I only lost Domi's while I was with them, so that particular Mega is propably from late 2004!

My main Empire Crow, "Switchblade", is about two years old now.
Lost the previous one to a suicide ganker in Amarr space with around 750m in the hold. This was before WTZ, and I wasn't paying attention after playing for about 12 hours straight.

My mission Drake "Patriot" is my oldest, which is a little odd considering that in the past I would lose handfulls of them in Alliance ops.

I still own the rookieship i started of with.. didn't fly it for very long but never bothered to scrap it.
A while back i came across it again, and decided to name it, it's named 'cradle of life' cuz i thought that was appropriate and in a sense of nostalgia and drama, if i do ever decide to quit this game (and no this is not yet so u cannot have my stuffz) i will board it and fly my char of into the sunset
I also have my very first bs, a 3.5 year old megathron.. wouldn't be surprised if it is the oldest thron in the game hehehe _______________________________________________________ CCP, let us pay the online shop with Direct Debit!!!

I have a CN hookbill that's probably 16-18 months old (maybe older), and a Drake that's been alive for at least a year... bought it a month or so after they appeared ingame, never lost that first one.

I've got the same trusty Dominix that I've always had. Most of my non-recon PvP is in my Dominix, quite a few of my Battleship championship fights have been in a Dominix...I've done gate-camp breaking in it, gatecamping in it, mission running in it, everything. :)
Its been my trusty sidekick for....as long as I can remember. How long have battleships been out? =p

Well, I still have my first Velator. I used it to mine so I could buy an Atron, which I promptly got shot out from under me. Lost many frigates after that, of course.
Not counting the Velator, I do have an Exequror which I've had forever. They're just too ugly to die. I figure most players just feel pity for such an ugly ship. I still use it for salvage operations, which it does quite well at. I've had that about 2 1/2 years. |

I've still got my original noob-ship that spawned in my very first moments, lounging around somewhere in Oursulaert.
I think I've got a batch of 5 Incursus' that I built in my first few weeks unsold in Verge, too. ------

I still have my first Vexor, passed down from those heady days before the drone nerf/change.
Poor thing, packed full of drones and unable to leave the station.. Still keeping it there, just in case a bug breaks the "drone bay too full" message and I can undock(hey, it could happen!)

I actually have a flycatcher that has laste me 6months. I survived countless gatecamps and many 0.0 fights (in a dictor, lawl).
It still has its original name, "Monkey Wrench", but it has gone through 6-7 refits since I got it. --

I remember the anticipation about transport ships.
I was the corp hauler at the time so when they were released i was destined to buy one.
27m for the skill and 98mil for the ship. It was the first one to hit the Heimatter market :)
Still got it today \o/

I still have a punisher in A-1CON from one or two months after I started playing. I don't think I ever even got to assemble that ship before I left the region.
other than that the oldest ship is an Arazu that still hasn't seen any combat :/

Other than that everything gets trashed in a month or two.
My first battleship that I mined for 2 weeks for 4 years ago got trashed in 2 days (fell asleep). ---

I named my first rookie ship "Starbreaker 1" and still have it somewhere. I considered keeping one corp hangar for a read-only "museum" where we could put things everybody might like to look at, like memorable ships and the corpses of our enemies. Didn't actually do it, though. --- I'm looking for a good 0.0 corp to join. |

Can't u stick in a station can instead? if u need the hangar that is? :D
I actually did upgrade that mega to a navythron, but in my rpg mind, it is basically still the same ship, just with upgrades, every now and then i board her and fly her around a bit, but she will never see active service again, it would be too heartbreaking for me to see her destroyed. |

My first ship ever "Tashiell Gao' Ibis" is swiftly destroyed by concords just after few seconds of my creation for my first attempt of suiciding: i stole and fitted another civilian rail from someone's wreck and tried to kill one of my noob-corpmates. The oldest ship up to date is a "bantem"spelling?! (the caldari mining frig) i bought just after the above noob-ship is destroyed, (after the 15 timers ofcause) i used it for looting from a friend's missions without his promission of cause. He shares standing with me, so he couldn't careless. |

I have a Merlin a friend gave me.
We were both pretty new and I lost my first cruiser, which took me ages to save up for back in the old days of '04, trying to save her from being ganked in a belt. I thought I was doing quite well against the three of them :(
She got away in her Caracal (her first cruiser) and felt compelled to give me her old Merlin as a thankyou for suiciding my ship. I repaid the favour a year later by diligently mining (the only time I have EVER mined) and guarding mining ops (which was much more fun) designed to replace her first BS loss :p
She no longer plays, but the ship remains as a testament to people sticking together and helping each other out when no-one else can or will.
One unforseen side effect of this on my journey to the Dark Side was that if I ever come across an opponent who engages me to try and save someone else, no matter how outclassed he is, I am compelled to give him something to recognise his sacrifice (no matter if the original target also died). Be that isk, advice or both. |

My oldest would be my Manticore that I bought when they first came out for around 60 million.
Most battles survived would be my Vindicator, had it for a few years with 163 kills in the last year alone. |
