Added to that, nobody including me wanted to spend half thier play time shooting pos crap. Good luck to CI v2, if the game mechanics change i would love to fly back with the old boys and girls ( hi zajo / quilin ) Anytime you got Joey in a gang your gonna have fun, but without the drunken NSN friday ops it will be CI v2 for the time being. Why me eh?

I was introduced to pvp in CI, and I was probably the only (and youngest) newb in alliance, but damn, I learned a lot. I doubt there could ever be a finer bunch of PVP'ers in eve history. "Never have so many, had so few, to thank..." oh dammit ;) It sucked that CI version 1 disbanded, I really loved most of you guys, so I wish you the best of luck with CI version 2 or whatever happens. Ps. CI version 1 beats CI version 2 hands down DS. :P PPS. As for greyc joining hydra and all that, I think I pretty much cleared that up in another thread, we get to blow you guys up instead of McroMner543 ;) DDS. PPPS. What? We lost people to SPA? Pff, doubt we lost anything worthful... Hi zyer, hi iiixiii... ;) DDDS. PPPPS. I love the smack, the air is just full of nice lovin' DDDDS.

CI was old style pvp, modern eve requires blobs, supercaps, sov, cyno jammers etc In the end there was some harsh words and some people didnt take the parting from CI the best way but that is history. as for Greyc joining Hydra after CI I as ceo made that call and the reason was that i realized that CI was in many ways the best alliance in EVE at that time. No alliance we joined after CI could top CI. so what is the next logical step after that? 1. Join one of the current blobbiest, nanoganking, boasting alliances in eve (read TRI or most other "pvp alliances") 2. Join one of the nubbiest, worst pvp:ers in eve and help to turn it around to make a propper alliance out of it? also i wanted to lead my own team in the alliance tournament, which i did and with my team, we atleast didnt make fools out of ours selfs (winning 3 out of 4 matches, damn totallhelldeaths and point system ) our corp has been around for almost 5 years in one form or another there wasnt any more big challanges left in eve. Joining Hydra has been our biggest challenge yet and we have take alot of heat for it from old Norad and CI! =) It has been fun and a challenge to fly with hydra but we made tons of new friends and things are looking alot better nowadays from all the hard work from so many different hydra corps. We still have tons of work left to do to make this alliance to what it has potential to be. but there are some stronghearted and stubborn pilots and corps in hydra to make it happen. as for iiixxxiii and zyer it was an honour to have you in the corp for the time you guys were here. your part of greyc history aswell as every single ex-greyc over the years. we simply coudlnt offer what you guys were seeking and it looks like you found it in spartan. i whish you all the best and as most other ex-greyc i am looking forward to have you on my killmail! no bigger joy as a CEO then killing old corp mates =)
