Just thought I would give a heads up to other pilots thinking of joining Martyr's Vengence. When I searched the forum about them before I joined I didn't find anything so I just wanted to make this for future pilots.
I joined a day ago and this afternoon got a offer to have my things moved to their 0.0 station. So I contacted just a few mil in ammo and mods plus a cynabal for 0 collateral. Yes I know that doesn't sound like a good idea but my thought was if they are willing to take peanuts I would end up better off in the long run compared to what probably would have happened had I made it out there. Not so long story really short. Got a failed contract, tried to convo got denied, asked in corp and got "your ship is gone get over it" and some more rambling about being bittervets.
If that's your thing then please feel free to ignore but if its not then fair warning. But I guess my first red flag should have been the inability to spell their own corp name correctly.
And no I'm not mad bro... |

Thats some pretty sound logic you used considering all I had to do was use my clone to get to their station and didn't have to contract anything. But I guess thats my fault for getting into a area of the game where people take it way more serious then me and think about stuff like that. |

I'm sorry If you took that as a insult as it was not intended to be that. It's just a fact that people take this game more serious than me. Possibly to serious but that's just my opinion and considering I've only been playing for a few months my opinion really doesn't hold much weight.
Also the intention of the post is not to complain but for someone like myself that looked for a thread like this before I ever talked to them. I don't really have the desire to be part of anyone's super nerd space ship drama. So if I can save someone else with that same lack of interest a few minutes then that's all I wanted to do. |

I think I missed something, but your ship was not in the contract you set up. No cynabal or any other ship.
From what I can understand from the convo in the chat, you actually asked when you can get your ship which you either forgot to put in the contract to be moved to their station, or had it in another contract (no info on that).
It can be understood either that they will not do a second transfer for your ship, or that it was lost somehow.
About the failed contract, no idea. It can also be understood that the ship transferring it all had been blown up, and the reply you got might even be out of context here.
So, this whole thread might be based of one big miss understanding or just some rush actions.
Them contracting you back the items, need a confirmation by this.
But anyway, knowing who not to trust for a few mil ISK is worth the money in the end of the day. |

I'll explain the screens a little better since I do think you may have missed something. In the album MV7 is the failed courier contract I set up with myself in the issued by field. Being a courier contract it doesn't show the contents but it does show that it is for 13km/3. (if there is a way to show the contents of the courier contact I would like to know how and would post that screen also.)
Mv2-6 is the contract sent back to me (as you will notice in the issued by field) with the contents of the gsc from the original courier contract. Each pic leaves the last item shown from the previous pic so it could not be said I skipped over it. If you got really board and wanted to do the math on it you would notice it is around 3.8km/3.
MV was just the corp convo.
I know not having the ability to show the contents of the courier contract is a whole I can not fill. You can either take my word that it was a gsc(3km/3) and a cynabal(10km/3). Or as stated by a member of their alliance above that I contracted them a empty container and am trying to scam a reimbursement. (But does not explain why someone would contract someone something after they tried to scam them with a blank container scam?) |

In all fairness, they out right state that they're really bad at this game, like terrible. So maybe they just lost and they're looking for it cause they feel bad. Probably not, cause they're terrible. Like really bad.

Considering test is best buddies with goons, who are well known for recruitment scams, I'd put the chances of that somewhere between Andy **** being straight and scientology being real. |
