I am out of game @work.
Is there anyway to tell if an invention was successful?
For example, using the program Outofeve.com?

I may be completely wrong in this, but I believe you find out when it is delivered. If you want/can, you can get a corp mate to deliver the job for you. At that point you can see if the job was successful (i.e. delivered) or if it was not (i.e. failed).
I don't know of any way to tell if it will be successful or not before delivery (or if there is a way). If there is, I'm sure someone will point it out. |

With a full API key and EVEmon, success/failure shows in EVEmon when delivered.
My corpmates tend to deliver everything that is complete, so that is how I know when something finishes and I have slots free. |

Yes. With the appropriate API key you can look at your Queue, Market Orders, Industry, Research, Mail and Notifications (read only).

I am unable to install evemon or EveHq at work. So I waited to go home.
2 inventions tried/2 successful. I sure hope CCP does not find out invention does work.
Thanks for the input guys, just wish there was a way to check from a locked down computer.

You will only see the success/failed staus of an invention job in the API if the job has been delivered, until then, it will show the 'ready' status, so you cannot start an invention job then go to work and check to see if it worked. |
