Becouse sooner or later they will move back to high sec.
Edit: Good Job, btw.
Would it not be better if they did move back to high-sec?
Since the majority of eve lives in high-sec somthing might be done if they **** off the majority of eve.

More than likely, they all originate from 1 or 2 stations nearby. If you can find a station with multiple lvl 4 qu 20 courier agents, that's the one.
Sit a discophoon or something on the undock and that'll probably end the caravan right there. Just be ready for a blob of Ravens to pop out if you get them riled up enough.

Actually a lot of macro hauler accounts are paid for using stolen credit card numbers. Owing to lack of Eve-related content, forums removed. If you would like to discuss this, please flame me. |

Actually most macro accounts are paid for using gtcs so that eventually boils down to ccp getting paid oh and even if they used stolen credit cards ccp would still get the cash

It's beginning to feel like work, work 'we' should not be doing .
It would be rather nice to have a GM sit on that gate for a day or two, and I would love to hear what he has to say about it.

Edited by: easei on 02/05/2008 03:04:01 We kill so many of these guys it's not even funny. Every once in a while we get an officer spawn who undocks in a caracal or drake. They've actully started smack-talking us in local now.
I don't know about givin someone a job to kill them, but I'm looking for a translator to re-babblefish this statement (google tells me it's mandarin):
Red is his name! ! ! Is a Jianhuo are raising the pigs! ! . He! !

Hello C&P
Tossing us a petition with a few names might help to let us know.
We can only reply with the generic "thank you for reporting this" type reply. But you just might catch the result in the General Discussion forum a few weeks later depending on the circumstances.
But yes, letting us know through the petition system will be more fruitful (although probably more boring) than posting about it here.
To put it simply. 1. We know there are macro users and farmers in the game. 2. We need to be tipped off through the petition system to actually go do something about them. 3. Names of the pilots are appreciated, the more the merrier.
As you were good sirs.

At least in this game, the players are *able* to get ****ed off and take matters into their own hands. Ive played games where all the players could do is report gold sellers and hope a GM was sober enough to ban the *insert derogatory name of your choice here*.
One thing I'm curious of is how exactly you determine someone is a macro... or are you just shooting without concern for an actual productive member of EVE society getting caught in the crossfire? I ask, because popping macros sounds like it might be a fun pass time for a PVP newb like me . |

Sitting a GM in Jovainnon, Orfrold and/or Ingunn for an hour or two should give you plenty of characters to look into. They'll be in noobships, unfitted T1 frigates, shuttles and most especially industrials running back and forth for the lvl4 qu20 courier agents. |

Last night after killing about 30-40 of them coz I was bored I actually managed to convo one of them.. this geezer seemed to be 'looking after' the macro ships. When I finally got through to him I asked for 1bill isk to stop me ruining his cash making scheme.. he agreed but gave me nothing so I continued shooting up all his haulerbots. This dude then proceeded to spam me with fleet invites and weird mails in broken engrish for the next 2hrs..
First of all hi Tiller, long time no see. I remember you fromb ack when you used to camp the Stacmon gate in Ostingele while I was in Placid Reborn. ( End of 2005 )
But seriously if he would have given you the money you would probably end up with a nice chat with a gm. In 2005 when I started playing it was well known that when you stole ore thief from a suspected macro miner it was a bannable offence if you didn't inform CCP first. :S This is more or less in line with the situation back then.
But still good luck with killing them. At least someone is doing their best to keep our universe macro free. Just as well that guy did not give you 1 bil ISK, thats dirty money; GM's might put your account into negative balance for that.
extorting isk in game is within the rules, no such thing as clean or dirty isk, unless it was bought with RL cash

Nonsense. Just observe the activity in Ingunn/Orfrold/Joviananon(SP?)/Arzi/Ansen/Intaki or where ever else the farmers are active these days.
You can easily observe their activity and ban them according.
I also do use petitions, and I have quite often reported obvious chinese farmers(even talking to me in local about their farming in chinese or broken English) and they continue to exist in game for months. |

that gm post does quite confuse me i must say so im paying you guys so i can spend my whole time everyday in eve doing your job and finding all the "cheaters" in eve i mean how on earth as a normal player would i be better equipped for this task to do this then the official staff of eve why are you this ineffective and inept at one of your job descriptions that normal everyday players are far superior
i know this may look like a troll etc. and a few years ago it probably would have been yet now its just the bloody way it is for me recently it has been leading ops goig through Joviananon(yes no one can bloody sp dis?!?) now we moved abit recently and allready before leading anything at our current location i know ingunn will be the biggest infestation we will encounter nobody can really be stupid enough to ignore this so honestly my conclusion of it all is that you choose to ignore it out of this being the easier/profitable option since ppl will still pay to play regardless
also tiller should be just fine ransoming a random guy for cash afaik he is a pirate and we tend to do that given the option and would be breaking absolutely no rules and just using game mechanics to our advantage their is no way for us to know 100% if we receive "tainted" iskies and as such we would need re-imbursement for lost profits or are you also saying that if a isk buyer gets minerals on the market ofc the guy selling the minerals has to be punished
also QFT any moron with half a brain could see what is going on by just looking 10s at local in any of these systems
