After being rightfully outraged over the BACON issue I decided to take matters into my own hands. The program I decided to create wasn't going to be able to nullify the damage that BACON does to Eve, but it sure would stick a finger up the ass of the BACON carebears.
EGGS is a third party tool that IS NOT APPROVED BY CCP. Take special note of this post by GM Grimmi for an example of CCP not endorsing a third party tool, and effectively banning its use. EGGS uses logservers in much the same way as BACON, but instead of warning lazy people of danger, EGGS parses market information for suicide gankers.
Exactly what does EGGS do?
Like stated above, EGGS parses the market information provided by the EVE client. It takes note of who purchases what and then filters out a "hit-list" of people with enough cargo value to warrant a suicide gank. You are provided with the names of the characters, their current system and the market value of their cargo. EGGS can be setup to track the movement of people, so you can learn their trade routes and normal wereabouts. EGGS even provides you with a suggested system in which to wait for your prey. Using BACON technology, you will be alerted with an audio cue when your target enters the system.
What is required to run EGGS?
Unfortunately, due to the way the market logs work, you need to keep alts in the regions you wish to monitor. This should not present a problem as you probably wish to keep relatively close to your potential prey anyway. Stick an alt in Jita and you'll have a hit-list spanning the Forge region. Other than a couple of alts, EGGS doesn't need anything except than access to the logfiles on your computer.
How do I operate the program?
Just keep the program running in the system tray durin your normal EVE game play. Right clicking on the icon will let you monitor the market dumps in real time, pick a target to monitor more closely or dump the whole thing into an easy-to-use MS Excell file for easy viewing and sharing. The program comes with extensive documentation and full customizability.

anyways, well played, hopefully this will get CCP to ban BACON once and for all but changing the EULA good work.
Because right now this program is basically BACON plus.

Sounds like CCP need to bump priority a little bit on some remedial repairs.
