Shmak DatAsh Di-Tron Heavy Industries Atlas Alliance	Posted - 2008.05.01 14:51:00 - [1] So last night, everything was quiet in BQ0, until suddenly Solar fleet pops in a 130+ fleet of caps and BS's + 2 titans!. 3 towers went up in BQ0, FIX's new Drone space. Then along comes IRC to help outwit the action. Any Thoughts???

But since it's kinda my job to ~~stop idiocy~~ give some basic information when ****** alts the masses from EVE don't have the full picture and need to know whats basically going on. Fix was assaulted, but since their our allies the SACK coalition is doing what we said we were going to do. It's not that hard to believe, peoke and scooter gave their word to us and held it when the chips were down. Atlas has done the same each and every time as well. So we could reverse that trend or uphold our word. Next we have what I saw in the various channels last night. And that was pretty much the following. Roadkill pilot: BOUT TIME!!!! I want to get some more skulls!! Smash pilot: YAAAY!!! Lets kick some a$$! Atlas pilot: Sweeet! We don't have to go very far for PvP. -V- pilot: Alright first one to 100 kills doesn't have to buy the beer. TKO pilot: Yarr! Where we be killing ppl? All in all it wasn't the 'ZOMG, titans, moms, enemies /o\. I think everyone on both sides has been itching for a fight and now that pretty much everyone in the game is fighting we all knew it was going to happen one way or another. Without the backup of anyone else it looks like the sides are pretty much even atm. Of course some twink will say there's a few hundred pilots on one side or another but the only thing that will matter is how many are on the field. I hope we get some good fights and keep em semi-clean and semi-smack free. We've all carebeared the last couple months, couldn't hurt to lose some ships and sc***some shields for some excitement. Anything they were building was for themselves. If they had wanted to build titans there are better places to do so. Did you see any titan specific parts? They had a small ship array. Maybe they were building titans there because it had some trit and titans need trit to be built. So. Did you see any titan specific parts? Just because an array is up doesn't mean anything is being built. Makes more sense that a corp was starting to work on a mothership. Put up a capital array. Leave it up for a few months. Wait for sov 4. Put up a few capital arrays in system for decoys etc. Considering that FIX has expected to be attacked for some time, I'd be shocked if the array had anything.

A 70 to 80 man fleet didnt even bother bringing a fight. I hade to sit there and stare at my Raven for 4 hours. It wasnt a prime time for about half the fleet. being up for 28 hours isnt fun.

There's no need to confirm what we're saying, only what you're saying. Then the whole point is moot. All I'm seeing is SDG losing an Aeon, then less than a day later claims of killing something that apparently only Etheral Dawn thinks exists, but without any screenshot or killmail. I have NFI why you think this, but surely it couldn't hurt to prove it if you are right? At least fake a chatlog or something, you need the morale boost.

I think what you are seeing in the drone lands right now is something like a ticking time bomb. True enough the drone lands are a far cry from our former former home of Querious, sure the names have changed but the game is still the same. Dealing with entirely different entities, that part is spot on but then it is true for both sides of this current conflict. Got to hand it to you guys you played it well on the first night, took us by suprise, overwhelmed us with numbers and did a bang on job of reinforcing our towers and POS spamming the key systems. Can't fault you in any way for that. I am sure that many in FIX commend you for your coalitions well played tactics, planning and execution of your initial attack. I said that it was true for both sides as what it seems you coalition neglected to consider is that FIX of today are nothing like the FIX of 6 months ago. We are no longer the easy target and EVE's favorite kick toy that we used to be. Sure our numbers are not as big as they used to be but that's what happens when the excess is shed and the chafe removed. Fix of today gets almost as many pilots prepared to defend itself as we did when we were 3 times in terms of members, and we are growing. I understand why we were attacked and Kudos for the attempt, you have my respect for that. I'm sure that if the roles were reversed we would have attempted something very similar.
