And your basis for this isssss?
Reviews, adverts and the fact that most other comic book movies turned into steaming piles of ****e on screen. The story doesnt really appeal to me either.
They actually took their time with this one. I saw it and I have to say they did a hell of a job. Its nothing like the past movies based on comic books. Definitely worth seeing. |

also when tony stark was gearing up in his red and yellow iron man suit for the first time me and my friends had to do a double take and say " this looks exactly like the starcraft 2 video!" all it was missing was tony saying "hell, its about time."

Saw it last night, very nice escapism. I'm not a huge fan of the Marvel universe, but I must admit some of the movie adaptations have been done quite well. |

So... apparently, we can be looking forward to a soon-to-be "Avengers" movie with Iron Man plus others, eh ?

In other news... how often do they let Downey out of jail, to go make a movie?
Jail time is a trading mark of many great performers. Downey has become a kickass actor lately. Not sure if its the late group sessions in the showers that make prison time such an incentive..

My new favorite movie of all time. Glad they are making more. Iron Man rocks.
Iron Man 2 was formally announced for April 30 2010 by Marvel Studios as well as 3 other IP's: Thor (June 4, 2010), Captain America (May 6 2011) & the Avengers (July 2011).

Seen it already, not bad. A little short, and it moves REALLY fast. but it's well worth a watch.
Of course, in keeping with my part-time EvE profession, I pirated it. (Yay Pirate Bay! \o/ )

A little short??? It's over two hours, dude. It does seem short, though, because half the movie is development.
I really enjoyed the movie. I've seen all the superhero movies except Daredevil. I would rank this right at the top with Spider-Man (1). It's excellent.
To the poster who said he doesn't want to see it because of the reviews, go check out rottentomatoes.com. It's currently at 92% and is the best reviewed movie of the year. You need to check your sources and then go see the movie. ---- What part of "shorn't" do you not understand? |

I liked it, but was a bit dissapointed by the ending. It seemed a bit too sudden when there clearly should have been a big apocalyptic super fight of some sorts. The final encounter in the movie was a bit dissapointing.

Pretty damn epic movie. I do see the point in the end being a bit short. But hey, it was a nice explosion ..
Also, SOOO many hints for a second movie. *Drool*

First rule of Hollywood - allways leave room for sequels, less money spent getting a less competent writer to do a tribte work to the first as the groundwork is allready done.
