Don't work together - lots of graphics corruption and you can't even see the accept user agreement bit. through clicking randomly u can get in but then its totally unuseable. All other games I have tried work fine.

It's best to spot this kind of issues before SP2 goes final... gives time to fix things in advance. The difficulty however is finding out if it is a bug in EVE or in SP2.
No, I don't have SP2 nor do I intent to betatest it. |

SP2 changes a lot of things, so it is quite posisble that programs will need to be changed to run on it.
It could be a problem with any of Eve, Windows, or my ATI graphics drivers. However as everything else works fine with no problems I would guess one fo the changes breaks the say some of the things are done in Eve.

EVE Works PERFECTLY on my SP2 Machine. Try installing the most up-to-date drivers for your system and if that doesn't fix it... Re-Format and start again.

baggam, any performance increases? for eve-play (or general game play) or for other windows tasks? would be nice to have a quick run-down, i might d/l it if its not too buggy.

The problem might also be specific to your hardware config. I'll test it out on a ATI Radion 8500 and Athlon 1.8 ghz. Wouldnt be the first time that there are problems between windows and a specific graphic's card or manufacturer.
May your gunĘs strike truth into those who wish to oppress it. |

its also worth noting that i believe the first few betas did't have the problem, but the latest (the release candidate) does have the problem.

No real performance updates, although DirectX9b is included as standard in the Service Pack, (As is WMP9). They have added a better firewall (Which doesn't break EVE and doesn't hit performance), a Security Center, Wireless Networking has been overhauled oh and IE6 now has Pop-up blocking... That is superb!!

The company that I work at develops software, and we already know the pitfalls of SP2 for XP in its current form. It's nice to have the heads up here, and personally I plan to hesitate on installing SP2 on my PC for a few months. _______________________________________________ Fony, CEO Citadel Corporation Sobaseki VII - Caldari Naval Support citadel.guildportal.com
