I don't stick to one thing. I mine and run missions, make stuff, and interact with the corps my friends are in.

I've done everything of Eve besides partaking in 0.0 warfare, piracy and killing other people.
I'm still doing the things I posted above, but I've been to 0.0 a few weeks back to run missions and to convince people to vote for me in the CSM, and I think I want to give 0.0 another try and run missions for Mordu's Legion or Guristas to see if that works out. Being shot at at almost every gate was not very comfortable but it was a challenge nonetheless.

'scumbags' that love to ruin other players, not for the loot, but for the fun of seeing another person upset.

Doing a mission that I've already had for the 3rd time in a row.
Originally by: Ramruqai What have you not done in Eve? - Do you want to try any of it?
0.0 warfare, piracy and killing other people. Not going to do any of that because my personality is incompatible with such acts. I'd like to have some PVP in a consentual environment such as will probably be offered through Faction Warfare though.
Originally by: Ramruqai What does the future of Eve look like to you? What would you like it to look like?
I'd like to see more content aimed at individuals and small groups, both PVE and PVP. It should be encouraged to band up with others you don't know so well, without having to worry about scams like the lofty and such. I'd like to see policing and crime prevention as player responsibility, and that killing criminals and those with a bounty is rewarded. There's a lot of scum in Eve, and the sooner we as players can deal with them, the better.
Originally by: Ramruqai What do you generally feel about CCP's approach in managing the game? Have they done any bad mistakes? - Did they learn from these mistakes? - Do you have any plans or interest in bringing said mistakes up with them?
I think they have underestimated how many players want to play safely by themselves or with small groups of friends. And I also do not get the feeling that they really thought out 0.0 warfare well, with the tedious POS warfare and the many complaints about capships. Both groups of players need more interesting activities to engage in. Oh and the UI, esp. the one for Manufacturing and Invention... Totally horrid, and definately something I'll bring up.

Do you feel they have done something very positive/clever in managing the game that they need to be praised for?
Yes, I love Eve for its complexity and the fact that players create their own experience instead of being hand-held through a preconstructed quest/raid/level system. Sure, Ultima Online had that too, but at least they did not follow the Everquest/WoW bandwagon.
I'm sorry I didn't make a solid speech but that would have taken a lot more time, and this covers my points well enough I think. |
