PwnzDeLeOwnz Federal Navy Academy	Posted - 2008.05.03 15:06:00 - [1] So I'm chilling in my pod listening to eve-radio when I get a corp mail. It seems that a corp we decc'd declared the war mutual. I'm thinking, "oh great! That means they'll fight us and not dock up!" Then about 10 mins later I get a nice little eve-mail from our friendly CONCORD rep again: <date> CONCORD has declared this war invalid as it breaches one or more articles in the Yulai Convention. I'm thinking, wtf? It didn't start yet, we paid the bills so what is going on? Then my friendly CONCORD rep sends me another eve-mail: <date> The war between <exploiting corp> and <The sexy pew pew corp that is us> is coming to an end. <exploiting corp> has retracted the war against <The sexy pew pew corp that is us>. The war will be declared as being over after approximately 24 hours. Ok, so they retracted the war after making it MUTUAL and the war invalidates? What the hell! If a war is MUTUAL, IT MEANS BOTH PARTIES HAVE TO END IT NOT JUST ONE! So this means every carebear corp can avoid wars by making it mutual and then retracting and docking for 24 hours so us hard working PvPers can't fight. So apparently wars are now pointless as any corp can use this exploit to cheat their way out of wars. Why the hell bother with a wardec option in the game if scumbag cheaters like this can exploit their way out? Why not just remove PvP and the ability to attack other people all together. Get rid of 0.0 and lowsec and make it all empire so the carebears can mine and mission run WITH NO RISK WHATSOEVER. With all the wardec avoiding exploits, this is what EVE has come to. Nothing but a safe environment for cheaters and carebears who are too scared to lose a page of code that shows pixels. Thanks CCP, you've outdone yourself this time.

I didn't notice it because they never showed the alliance under their name as they were only in the alliance for a whole 60 seconds. I'm still waiting on the petition for this known exploit. Also, congrats to the corp! We're perma-deccing you for this stunt.

Thats why the better missions, rats and ore is located in low/no-sec. Also there is profit in creating a corp, but of course, then the risk of a wardec. I also think that people should post with their mains if they are going to complain about other corps being cowards. Else they just come off as cowards themselves. Just my 0.2 isk worth.

Repeated attemtps, however are classed as exploit...or am i totally wrong here?

Kinda lame if you're willing to fight a corp but get scared if they turn out to have friends.

That is what makes it funny and is the reason to do so. the devs, at least i thought, said this is a pvp game , that theres pvp with ships and with isk. they never said you cant use your ships to beat the isk out of another corp whos idea of pvp is crashing the markets. If the game is pvp in all aspects of the game then you should expect to be shot at while your playing at least once or twice. I dont remember any of the devs saying who you should and should not wardec before. not everyone feels the need to justify their actions. If eve is a sandbox then that means theres a playground. If theres a playground then theres always a few bullies. When you got bullies and soft targets your going to see the bullies swarm them because they are just easy pickings. I dont remember the devs putting in some morale code of conduct in the eula about who to and who not to shoot. nothing about who can be wardeced and mentioning you ask for permission to wardec the other corp. If this is supposed to be a cold uncaring game world then cold uncaring things should be allowed to take place. its a game mechanic that appears to be busted if this thread is true. They really should change the mutual war option so that the side that surrenders loses something. whatever is lost should go to the side that wins. either a flat isk fee to make the fight mutual otherwise there would be a lot of gm work to be done to act as a referee.
