So if a JF cyno in to station, and immediately docks, then undocks and is invuln till about 5 seconds before he jumps, is there any way of stopping that chain of events so he can't jump? |

They are pretty much invunerable in low sec unless they dock in bad kickout station. In 0.0 you can bubble the undock so they can't jump but they'll just dock back up. |

Can't bump unless they break the invulnerability early, no? I've seen plenty of ships pass through each other when undocking.
I expect there's a 10second session timer between cynoing to the station and being able to dock. It's a small window where you should be bumpable as that's a different arrival on grid to a gate jump or undock, right?
Lastly if the cyno ship's bumped(only possible before lighting the cyno?), or killed before you load system, I think you could find yourself out of position or elsewhere in the target system entirely. You'd then need to get back to the station to dock, while flying a space brick. |

Confirming this. Best chance to get a JF is on the jump-in. If the cyno is poorly placed they may land outside of the station docking radius if they're unlucky. Some people will also light a cyno on a gate to highsec instead of on a station, or at a POS. Both will leave the JF vulnerable for quite some period of time, though anyone with a brain will logoffski the moment they see a neutral in system if their JF is vulnerable. There are some things you can do to try to catch them, but to be honest they have to be doing something colossally stupid for you to have any chance. A correctly flown JF is invulnerable transport anywhere in EVE. |

I've seen someone lose a JF becuase they lit the cyno on a POS instead of a station with a known cloaked hotdropper in system. |

yep..that is why you light the cyno far enough from pos that you can warp down (instawarp with web) instead of slowboat inside and get buthole ripped wide |

PL lost a JF when they jumped in system to warp to an allied POS and derped on putting the password in correctly. Bounced 70km from shield, then made dead by the foe. Oops. Does lighting a cyno on a high sec gate put the JF outside gate jump range most of the time?? If so I need to re-evaluate my future JF plans lol. |

Nothing wrong with cynoing on gates. It's very fast now with the 10s session timer, and you're always in jump range of the gate when you load grid. Always.

A gate is huge, distance is measured from the gate not a single point in the middle of it. |

Instalock Muninn instapopping the cyno at the exact right moment and a prober with probes around the sun.
If the Jumpfreighter jumps at the exact time his cyno is popped he won't land at the station but in the sun. From there he will be propelled out at ridiculous speeds, but you can catch him when he slows down.
It needs a bit (a lot) of work but can be done. |

This still depends on the JF pilot being stupid and not logging off when he jumps into the wrong spot, or at worst after 1 d-scan and seeing combat probes.

JF at stations are almost absolutely invulnerable. Only chance of catching them if they cyno in on POS and slowboat into the forcefield or warp off somewhere, where you could drop a bubble, assumed he would warp/cyno in anyways with you in local. |
