Wow.. I had a first...
I stumbled onto some memebers of CA last night in Tribute. After seeing that I was not getting out alive, I said screw it, and attacked with my MIGHTY Thorax. Needless to say, the Curse battleships quick removed my pod from my ship.
But you know what threw me??? No, as in ZERO flaming! Even had a plesant convo with them in local after my pod hauled arse to a moon!
Wow! Curse acting like professionals? I hate Curse, but liked these guys... Really hope to fight you again, and maybe I will be in my friggin battleship next time!
Hats off to Crice!  Quite cool!
Are there any other decent CA corps like that, cause I know there are major flammers in CA that may be giving them all a bad 'Flame' rep...
And Prophecy's sig is still broken...

Hey Reclaimer, I think you need to dial down your CA public response personna from "extinquish all life" to merely "pitbull vicious" level, the guy is actually complimenting a CA corp for behaving professionally for once.
Now of course everybody knows that the CA aren't 100% smack-talking disrespectful sunlight- avoiding teenage angst-meisters ... thats an unreasonable stereotype, but hey, leaping down the throat of a guy who is actually complimenting you is a bit knee-jerk-tastic you have to admit.

VOTF has a strict non-smack policy, of course not all memebers always hold true to these high standards. But most engagements are clean. Our esteemed enemies Colective and Stormguard Elite will vouch for this im sure. Moo and Evol will no doubt flame us.

I have to admit that during my one and only combat encounter with VOFT (when I tried and failed to blow up one of your frigates which sheltering between two Crice Megathrons in my shiny new crow) your chap was fairly polite in local. Which did make a nice difference. On the whole I do concur with Notfer, Crice aren't bad either when it comes to local smack (or absence therein).

I can absolutly, positivly, guarantee that you are wrong on this one buddy :)
VentureCorp was/is (at the time you're referring to) friendly with SA, and had been for quite a while before conquerable stations came out. This was brought about by long standing problems we'd had with CA in our travels through catch to Immensea prior to the formation of XETEC/Immensea etc. Once the stations came out, we joined up with COD almost immediatly.
At one point, one of our members was assigned a project to develop a spreadsheet of the politics and policies of all alliances that would share that info, and so it's remotely possible that you may have talked at some point to one of our members about info related to that project, but at no point was anyone in the VentureCorp directorate remotly interested in joining CA.
Not trying in any way to flame CA with this, especially since this post was complimentary to CA members...just clearing up the facts.

And like so many other things, I disagree with Jade about liking this fellow. He's like a buzzing Gnat. However...
To answer the original post question, most of CA is like this (or tries to be), we had a fight with stain this weekend with absolutley ZERO smack, we engaged m0o last night, aslo (as far as I know) with zero smack. There are isolated cases where smack is previlent. On the otherhand, I wouldn't nesisarily call outright hate "smack talk", i'd give it more of a "seething malice" kind of label..
But that's just me.
