Which would be a nice solo PVP race?
Im trying to find something fun, low requirements if possible, and over all easy to get into and still be beneficial.
Im having a hardtime trying to find ships i like in EVE. Any recommendations would be nice. Im mainly trying to go for frigate and cruiser sized warfare. |

Rifter is the best T1 PVP frigate in the game (punisher competes at high skill levels). Minmatar offer an interesting assortment of fighting styles, and ships useful at every class. Might be what your looking for.
Galente are much more brute force than Minie. Get into web range, blast them to tiny pieces with powerful blasters. They also offer great ships at most classes and roles. If you like drone combat, place to be.
Amarr + Caldari are more difficult to solo with, and will therefore require more player and character skills to see good results. |

I'm sorry, I'm afraid I disagree. Whilst all races are quite acceptable in terms of PvP capability, Caldari and probably Amarr suffer somewhat more as 'Solo PvP' ships.
The reason's actually about the same in both cases - lack of midslots. Amarr just don't have many midslots. Caldari have lots, but use them for tanking as well as tackling. They also both suffer somewhat on mobility, compare to the other two.
I'd say Minmatar or Gallente make good solo PvP ships - there's good choices in pretty much every ship class. |
