Navigator Brief Rundown - Typical Carrier fighter blob in a cyno jammed system, Trisurg didnt have the support numbers and 3 capitals and a Supercap went down. Its just great to see the lag finally losing for once. GF to all involved parties, lets keep it civil etc.

Interscene Minmatar E X O D U S Imperial Republic Of the North	Posted - 2008.05.04 17:39:00 - [19] (An RP player) After the hammering, alarms, shouting, running feet and echoing bangs got too much to ignore around my bunk I had barely gotten out of bed when someone grabbed my shirt and dragged me into the ship bay. I simply took my nearest ship with range - a stealth capable bomber, as it turned out - and jumped into Z-K to find a major fight going on. I counted at least eight TriSurg carriers and perhaps I thought two Nyx class floating about. The lag to all systems, probably due to the massive amounts of ElecWarfare being blasted about and the electromagnetic output from the systems of so many capital ships overwhelming my ship. Primaries were called, but the battle was happening at worse than slow motion, many ships weren't able to lock targets, move or fire. By the time I got an update I realised I'd fired all my missiles and was taking damage - I didn't even see who was shooting me before I was gone. Worse, my pod was trapped in the burning warship for almost quarter of an hour before I was auto-ejected. Although I played little part in the battle it was clearly a victory for IRON, MM and the many others engaged on our side, if it wasn't for all the lag generated making it hard for support to maintain effective jamming on all targets there is little doubt we would have wiped out the entire fleet.

We were camping the bubble on the bkg gate as we have all weekend and the northern napmonkeys jumped about 100 on us. We released our fighters and went to work killing around 50. Our support did a great job dealing out damage to hics and dictors but was overwelmed. Motherships were left on the gate with a few carriers. More pilots from the northern hoards kept jumping in raising local to 350. Desynchs and module lag became the enemy. The order was issued to pull fighters and start smart bombing but at this point lock times were 10 minutes and module lag matched. We were ordered to align, emergency cyno was deployed some jumped out. My cap was unable to comply so I hit my pos bm. 10 minutes later I warped. The only way I knew I was at my pos is when I clicked my cloak and it said 5 mins later that I was 2000m from a pos shield. CCP should perhaps do something about the lag but we all know they won't. Darknesss was simply the unlucky one that didn't get out. Dark also did a flawless job FCing the caps during the whole thing. sry for your lose Dark. General Dynasty ☠
