It will always be shot down. not because its a good or bad idea but because if people did it the hard way for years they dont want new players getting an advantage and not having to tough it out like they did.
That is the real reason the player base dont want it happening
Or is would spike the plex market and people dont want to pay even more for there plexes.

Would you be referring to the same affluent players that can (and do) already buy super caps and Titans with plex and also purchase with plex the pilots with which to fly them?
The can of worms was opened when GTCs could be turned into ISK as well as game time. Might as well go all the way, right?
Personally, I would buy a one time 100k sp reallocation to tidy up my older characters skill sheets.

OP, you'll be better off suggesting 500mil ISK for remap and then let players buy plex with cash and convert it to ISK to buy the remap. |

I agree, it is a horrible idea, I may have been misunderstood. I was just trying to tell the OP not to mention the PLEX word in connection to anything on the forums.

I think before we decide to do anything else with PLEXEs beyond offering game time is get rid of the nex store first so we can see what happens if a smaller feature like this gets introduced otherwise prices will just get ridiculous.

The difference being that PLEX/GTCs offer a better overall solution for the game compared to the black market of RMT.

I have a better idea: get rid of remaps, get rid of attributes. Just one SP/hr rate for everyone.
No more weekends spent organising, optimising and reprioritising that training queue to find that the fastest way to get into a black ops battleship is to not fly any T2 ships for 17 months, then jump straight into a Widow, because you're better off training all the science skills during your Int/Mem remap, all the way up to Jump Drive Calibration 5 (because it's better than 4), then hop over to a Per/Wil remap to train to fly cruisers, battleships, covops and then black ops.
Attributes and remaps are an evil that must be purged.
With no attributes or remaps, we'd be able to enjoy flying covert ops and recon ships while training to fly a black ops without worrying about the training queue taking an extra 3 months. Planning skill training could then become more like project management rather than accounting :)
The only downside is that we'd kill the market for attribute implants. But then we wouldn't have people married to their +5 jump clones, so there would be more PvP.
