If you want to go all nano crazy, then yes, it is. If you do not want to nano it, get a cerb. It's more epeen than anything sire. |

Same as above IMO. Better nano ship than a cerb (one of the best cruiser sized nano ships in game) but worse of for most things else. |

I'd hold off on it then personally, at least for PvP. If you aren't close to whats needed skill wise for Hacs then a Caracal Navy Issue is just a big paper target. |

It's comparable to a Cerberus. It's better at some things, worse at others.
It has more grid, an extra rig, and lower mass than a Cerb. Sometimes this is useful.
So... yes. But it's about the same price as a cerb, and faction ships have 'ooh shiny, kill it' syndrome. |

i not gonna take it pvpin... but i was gonna use it at the ded complexes and deadspace complexes... u think thats a good idea... i mean with the extra lows and extra mid i think... it will just be better... |

Well, there you go. If you never pvp with it, you won't ever lose it, you can increase your income and then sell your investment att buy-price. How can it not be worth it? |

That's the problem with it, as a ship its awesome but as soon as somebody sees the *ooh shiny kill we gotta have that km!!!!!!!!" it the whole gang primaries you causing losses you might not otherwise have suffered.

You know how to combat that? Be in a gang with only faction ships... it can't be so hard to get your corp to organize an "All Navy Caracal Afternoon", if only for the lulz

Don't buy CNC from people in Jita, who spam Local with messedges like "First to open a Trade window with me will get Caldari Navy Caracal for 69 mil!"

we lost a navy caracal a few days ago to -7-.... useless cov op's pilot, we were on the empire side and a war target jump through with a freighter, we were waiting to jump through, the voice chat went something like this
Damares> is there a camp??

useless scouts ftw, i couldnt beleive he just sat there and ignored my questions while talking about the 1 ****ty war target on the gate whens it just a blob of red....
i think he liked it, just for the pimp factor though, he flew it into pvp hence its death, i think id get a cerb if i could fly one, i certainly wouldnt fly a faction cruiser into pvp, cheap all the way

I bought one awhile back and used it for some of the Caldari COSMOS area and have used it in some RADAR and UNK exploration sites. Not a bad ship, and easy on the eyes.
