Scenario: you are afk cooking food/making coffee in the kitchen, TS is on your speakers and you hear someone shout they have a capitel ship scrambled, you drop the coffee cup make a huge mess then run back to your PC, undock and join the fight. Logging in takes at least 1 minute and you can miss alot in 1 minute.
Dropped my GF once when someone screamed they had a capital ship scrambled. You wouldn't believe the mess that doing that made!

If anyone can sit 14 hours in front of a computer with their hands delicately resting on a keyboard then they need a doctor (or their wife/girlfriend to errrr distract them).

Im hardcore gamer,a lot time spend in eve,my computer is on hmmm maby 17/24 so somtime im afk,i know eve is game anty afk but somtime i need pause 2-3 hours so i go afk im human like u all :D so if i got pause is ok :D and i dont care what say ppl if im afk in asteroid bells.Not all people are against afk mode 2 month ago i have som funny situation.
I was damn tired near computer so my body and soul ;p make mode off,i was in belts in 0.5 in hulk 5 hours sleep,som mining op kill rats near me :D and protect my hulk after 5 h i wake up i thanks for protect :D
