On a side note: Wouldn't creating yourself hundred alts and voting for one person skew the vote?

Yeah I figured if I create a trail account using fake info and a phony e-mail address that could but it's not like we're trying to elect the next world leader. Minor issue probably.

I got my vote in, nice its finally moving.
Get voting everyone! At this point voter apathy is the greatest enemy of a successful CSM, I don't care who you vote for as long as you do vote!

Too many goons.
Nobody with enough points that I could really agree with without having too many conditions on that agreement (I'd settle for only agreeing with half a person's views, and with only 3 or 4 conditions on those agreements). I dread to think what kind of input/feedback the winners from this field will actually give CCP and how much weight will be put on that input/feedback.
Maybe next time...

Would be awesome if a pole showed votes in % pr person everyday ... like you see on TV :)
PLEASE NO!
This is an example of what is screwing up the elections in the US now. If you go to the poll KNOWING that your candidate cannot mathematically win the election, you are disenfranchised. You simply know your vote is either wasted or not going to the candidate you really want (if you happen to vote for the next-best person).
Frankly, I would have preferred IRV, where each candidate is ranked according to preference and then the rankings across all completed ballots compared to look for the most consistently ranked candidates. You have 12 slots to fill, then you take the top 12 ranked candidates from all ballots. It leads to greater consensus as the divisive person ranked #1 by half the voters but last by the other half will end up in the middle-- and hopefully not in office.

Well good point ... It would affect the election in the long run. I'm just curious about the standings in general ;)

One vote in, Jade Constantine. For walking the walk, now is she could talk a little less of the talk I might just listen to it all.
Seriously, for promoting the game experience I want, a real enough name for starters, a base in roleplay and not opting for the easy mode she easily could've, sitting with a territorial alliance raking in the billions. All those pieces being in place I have no doubt she'll have what's best for the game foremost in mind.
Yes I'm aware it's a guy and no, not letting her off the hook, if she chose that lifestyle I'll respect it and treat her like a lady.
Should/would/could have, HAVE you chav!

Am I a moron or did the list of candidates appear in the same order every time I voted? What the hell CCP?
I had to scroll down at least 2 screens worth to find my candidate; I can't imagine he's going to get many 'undecided' or casual voters.
Seems pretty stupid imho.

That's exactly why I'm running: if I get elected, everyone in EVE can vote on each specific issue, instead of a programme. </shameless self-promotion>

It might have been silly of me, but I used my three votes to three different candidates. Basically since each account serves a different function, and really none of the candidates covered all three of them, it ended up spliting my vote.
On a sadder note: That means that I voted for a Goon with one of them!
