I currently fly a Arazu and training Minmitar Crusier 5 right now and was wondering if anyone had used this combo for low sec or 0.0. I personal was looking at EFT and thought maby putting a Damp on my rapier just to help the arazu out so any thoughts on the team and fittings would help |

It's a classic combo.
Don't waste Rapier midslots on things the Arazu should be doing. Your Arazu pilot should have good damp skills. If they don't, they're Arazuing wrong.
Double Web Rapier + Triple/Quad Damp Double Point Arazu = a very one sided 2v1.
But if you encounter 2 ships you're in deep kimchee.

Problem with those is the DPS.
Arazu/raiper work excellent as suprise tacklers. But be careful when you team up and try to kill a ratter or something. He may be able to get reinforced long before you kill him, if you break the tank that is.

Yea thanks for the replys so far. I totaly agree that the dps may be lacking my thinking on helping this is the drones from the ships with both ships you should have 6 med and 4 light drones plus guns. Now I know the rails from the Arazu will be lacking but the Alpha from artys should help. The main plan is to have my alt in a Covert Ops on the other side of gate and when a ship jumps uncloack and wait for it

if both of you are sporting good drone skills then that's a good starting point.
I normally fit 3x 650's and 3x Gyro's on my rapier aswell.

Arazu: 3x 250mm II (AntiMatter) 2x MagStab II, 4x Valkyre II
Rapier: 3x 720mm II (EMP) 2x Gyro II, 4x Valkyre II
= 450-500 DPS safely from 30km.
Kills a Raven pretty fast. |

add in a falcon, and maybe use targeting speed scritps on your aruzu? should be fun. Also DPS moar needed try an ishtar (nano)

If anything a falcon would be added want to keep it Covert Ops so we can kill and interdicters that my be trying to camp by themselves and just warp cloaked. I flt the ishtar and love it nano'ed but kind of leary having it in 0.0
