Short history review (over the last 8-9 months):

* RUS attacks SA ( post made by Ron1n loooong ago, called "Stain alliance is dead")

* SA attacks RED CORSAIRS and other corps in Curse calling themself pirates. They are part of the very small Curse Alliance( mainly Red Corsairs, VOTF and Shinra). At this time, there are also 2 other small peaceful alliances in the curse region.

* RUS "runs" to the north of EVE, and makes friends with the pirate corps m0o and SINISTER

* SA starts to attack these 2 corps too.

* Meanwhile, RUS, SINC, m0o starts attacking FA too. (Loads of posts about this)

Things goes well for SA and FA.
RUS, SINC, m0o is crippling. Negotiations starts between SA and old CA to end the hostilities, as RC says they are no longer a pirate corp, but a RP corp.

Then in a short period of time, all hell brakes loose.

* SINC, RUS and m0o moves to Curse (where they once started up, in the start of EVE)
* The old CA aborts negotiations with SA, and says all corps will now fight SA on behalf of RC.
* The old small CA, RUS, SINC, m0o, and some corps from the other small alliances (like Oracle for example), joins into forming a "new" big CA.
* This new alliance has the main corpse in SA and FA as "KOS". (Some post made on this, mainly by Temujin of Xanady corp)
* On the very first day after the creation, they send a fleet of about 30 battleships to the Stain entry system.

* About 1 week after the creation, the invasion begin. SA and FA forces enter Curse, and pretty much all CA flee to empire space after a while.

* As SA and FA forces has to also protect their own regions, their presence in Curse decrease and CA pilots starts to head back to Curse.

* CA starts to reqruite many new corps into their alliance (corps looking for PvP, who doesn't have anything to do with the war).


As time goes on, CA continues to grow and also starts war against CFS.


Nowadays, SINC and RC doesn't exist. M0o is fighting against CA. Not many RUS pilots are around.
So when it comes to the reasons for the war, SA and FA achieved their goals and "won".
But CA grow big with many new corps, which were looking for PvP but didn't have anything to do with why the war started (such as Black Omega, NGRU etc).
So now the war is just for fun, to have something to do.
Except for Omega Corp, who has some grudge with the former leader of Everlasting Vendetta (who quit the game), and therefor OC has some mission to terminate SA
