Is everyone here a 13 year old with a chip on their shoulder? We later found out what a secure can was....but come to find it'll be a while before we can use those. sigh* The second thing that happened was the same night....about two and a half hours later. This incident was worse than the first due to the manner in which the other party affected our game. So there we are still sitting in our probes....still mining to try and recover our earlier losses. Suddenly a large hauler ship came into the belt where we were. Not sure what it was. He came closer...and closer...and before we knew what happened...our can exploded again. Suddenly we realized that this guy just taken everything we just mined. I called him a thief, which spurred a torent of profanities and insults which we were not at all prepared for. This person immediately tried to turn the situation around...suddenly we were the fools and idiots and everything else under the sun...for simply being new to the game apparently. We were called things we didn't even know existed...and were laughed and jeered at in local as he warped away. Judging by this persons attitude and language skills, I would place an age of about 16...if not physicly, then at least mentally. Thanks Vogon Jeltz. You made these new players feel very welcome. In real life, people like you get booted into the dirt. Enjoy your greatness here in Eve. We left the game that night with nothing, after spending roughly 5 hours trying to get ahead. From a couple of new player perspectives...this game seems like quite a chore to learn to enjoy. Hello, I'm sorry to hear about all that, you're right there is not enough out there to help new people into the game, partly because there is just so much to learn. If you are looking for a corp that has a lot of mature players, that also work closely, Darkn3ss may be able to help, the biggest thing we look for in our members is their honesty and overall maturity level, and we also like to help and have fun of course Back to the subject in hand now I've done my advertising Ore thieves are sadly a part of EvE now, and theres hundreds of threads on the rights and wrongs of it all. My best advice to you, as a victim of it myself, is to try and get the secure can skills as soon as you can. If you need some help with ISK for the skills, seeing as it doesnt look like you've made any money so far, convo me in-game. The people who are smack talking all the time, and generally being an annoyance are luckily a small percentage, who manage to often make the whole game seem bad, I can assure you that we're not all like that --'The Way is Shut'-- ----------------------- Jenny...Get to the Chopper---Stick Around -----------------------
