The Northern Alliances Security Treaty
The Northern Alliances Security Treaty [NAST] is a coalition of alliances consisting of the Fade Union, the Coalition of Deklien and The Phoenix Alliance. NAST was designed and ratified by its signatories to ensure their mutual prosperity in the northern regions. Above and beyond all else, the NAST is a mutual protection pact based on cooperation, and dedicated to the common goal of peace and security in the north.
NASTęs agenda is simple and firmly based on 2 solid foundations.
1. Free space for the regions of Pure Blind, Vale of the Silent and Tribute. We encourage any lawful corporations eager to seek their fortunes in 0.0 space to venture into these regions. NAST forces will be patrolling these regions, but will not insure complete safety at this time due to the size of the territories. However, we can promise a concerted effort to keep all station docking fees and refining fees set to 0. We also hope to work with other anti-pirate forces to jointly achieve this goal.
2. A mutual protection package for all NAST members in the northern regions. An attack upon the Phoenix Alliance, Fade Union or Coalition of Deklien in the northern regions will prompt an immediate response by all 3 signatories.
NAST stands united in the vision of a strong and secure north, a fourishing 0.0 economy just outside of our borders and good relations with our friendly and lawful neighbors.

Considering that PLD marched up to d7 and took the station, despite there being a hostile fleet at least double our size in the area (we passed thru them while they hid on our way up), it seems that this is just more pomp and bluff.
Maybe it's time to head up to Venal and run some raiding on indies and mining ships up that way. Yes, I think that's what the doctor ordered.

I'm just letting everyone know that The Lost Boys is fully behind this move by ourselves and others within the Fade Union (FU)!
We look forward to a long relationship with the other members of the NAST, and the prosperity this treaty will bring to the northern regions of EVE.
While I hope that our combined military might will not be needed in the days before us, I fear that we will need to put attempted invasions down in the near future. All reading this, understand that aggresive acts against ANY memebers of the NAST will bring swift retribution from ALL of the members of the NAST.

This brings up another note. Tell your boys if they want to play dirty we shall too. I got a few convos from CA forces right when battle began. So when I had to warp out I would start convo bombing the target that was called. O Deimos...did you make it out ok?

Ya know......, I'm sittin here reading these posts, reading everyone who says it won't last, our enemies saying how it will be for nothing. In the beginning of my alliance the smallest corp in EVE could come to our doorstep and take acrap withour having to worry about a thing. We've come a long way. There were many wars early on and many sides changed. COD vs. RKK. Then FA and COD vs. RKK and DSIN, then COD, FA and FE (thats right folks) vs. RKK and DSIN then COD, FE and FA vs. RKK, DSIN and RONA-KIA, then varying degrees of all those, then one day peace. RONA-KIA left COD space. FA stopped fighting RKK. DSIN broke up. COD stopped getting tarred :). Yet, out of all of those people the only ones who had a real problem with it were the ones least effected by it; Forsaken Empire. So after a wee bit of peace FE and CA decided they were gonna clear out Tribute, Fade and Deklien. As was stated by their leader: "We have mounted a force stronger than any ever seen in EVE history. Some 65 battlleships."
An impressive number no doubt. Yet amazingly, that force was beaten back. Sent running with their tales between their legs. The second strongest force in EVE history it seems. I admit I was suprised we had beaten them, but we had. Shortly after FE collapsed, and the remaining force joined HUFF to become the Oracles of Curse. Unfortuantly, if you have a turd, in a turd wrapper, and you take it out and you wrap it in pink, and put bows on it, and draw little flowers on the edge. When you take a bite, its still a turd. It seems we now faces these "oracles" and the rest of Curse Alliance on a daily basis. Often taking the fight to them. In a few short words: they're getting owned. Yet they seem so convinced that our efforts are short lived. hmmmm okay.

First, I would like to say thanks to the many well-wishers posting here. Your support has been noted.
Second, A flood of ingame eve-mails and convos have made it clear that the original press release was too vague. Some points need clarification.
Several reputably established corporations have contacted myself asking for NAST's permission to begin operations and purchase offices within Vale of the Silent, Tribute, and Pure Blind. Neither NAST nor its individual alliances claim these regions or maintain the offices. An "approval" is not required. What we would like is for those corps to identify themselves to NAST forces when spotted in local. State your intentions, and more than likely you will get a warm welcome.
Also, currently NAST does not accept applications for membership from lone corporations. We understand your desire to provide assistance for its vision, and we are flattered by the offers, but to maintain an acceptable level of managability, we must respectfully decline the generous offer for help. At some time in the very near future, we will be asking certain corps to add "NAST partner" to their corp description to reduce confusion and promote cooperation in the north.
Lastly, I have seen rumor that NAST was a knee-jerk reaction to a few battles in the OBE star system. This is incorrect. NAST has been in the preparation stages for more than 1 month and in phased negotiations for almost 3 weeks now. Infrastructure and comunication channels went live on Sunday.

Notferr doesn't have the corpse anymore, I do, i took it from him in his sleep, and its not a corpse anymore. I holowed it out and stuf it up in my living room. Now its a cat gymnasium, and its not for sale. Unless you have a football helmet full of cottage cheese and a giant baby bottle.

Just a shame that a few players within the combined alliance still feel it necessary to attack unarmed miners in 0.0 space, within pure blind..
As heads of this combined alliance its your job to weed out these players and if necessary kick out non.compliant corps.

feel free to contact the CEO of the Pilot, and as long it wasnt in Venal (not that you would be allowed to go in there) its no issue for the PA as Alliance
