I finished 7 missions for my level 1 agent and then got send to kill pirate in next system and get data report from it.
I killed the pirate 4 times now (jumping out of system makes it respawn again) but got only loot container and no report needed to finish mission.

Sure you didn't open BOTH loot containers? (Yes, two SHOULD be dropped.)

Warped to an old bookmark, instead of the one the agent gave me :(

I have exactly the same problem. I kill the Angel Pirate as i'm supposed to but he only drops ONE container which contains only crap loot.

Why don't you buy some reports and hand them to the agent? Not sure if it works but it's maybe worth a try...

Yup, buying a data sheet and putting it in your hangar will complete the mission.

Yup, this has happened to me twice after the patch; I now have two agents that have "failed" me because I got nothing from the pirates. But get this, not only did they fail me, but they won't give me a new mission, because I haven't finished the last one... ARGGHHH... Im running out of agents... 117 missions down the drain.

hell the mission said if finished in 20 minutes id get a bonus,well i finished in 5 and got nothing extra.
exactly how many dam mission to next level agent btw?
and ccp wonders why we whine,theyre so busy tryin to slow the game down,which makes it intensely boring that it becomes meaningless.
CCP if i wanted slow and boting id play checkers

I skipped agent mission for the first days. Yesterday I started to catch up on em. Tutorial missions went fine. Then the 5th mission I was supposed to kill drones and get training certificates(need 10). I killed 15 drones and didn't get any certificate. Also the drones give only 1 cargo container when distroyed. So now my agent told me I failed for his mission but seems to be waiting still when I want to talk to him. Any ideas?

You can buy the certificates on market, just like the data sheets. So buy the right amount and deliver them?..

Well, the drones leave only one cargo container each...open it and you'll find a training certificate...kill 10 drones to get the wanted 10 certificates...or if thats to much work, just buy them, as mentioned above. |

i have had this happen twice now, i've tried purchasing the data sheets and returning them and go the message "i expected a head on a silver plate.... go finish the job". while i have not found a way to fix it, i find that if i delete my agent bookmarks before acepting a new mission that i dont run into these problems anymore. hope this helps

Elissa - same probelms as you - fail a mission (though downtime, and the loosing the bookmark) and no more missions given...
and this was my FIRST agent...
how the helldo i get any others??

I have both problems. On completing the training drone mission I even get paid and my journal says I've passed, then awhile later I get emails saying I failed. For the pirate drone mission, I kill both pirates and there are no data sheets in their cargo so I can't complete the mission. Meaning I can't get a new mission from that agent. I have spent forever redoing the missions but to no success. Hope someone has a fix cause I'm a bit broke :(

I've just had this happen too, on the kidnapping mission. What makes it worse is that I'm pretty sure I'd have got a new agent for completing the mission.
If anyone knows where I can buy some VIPs to finish the mission, that'd be really helpful.

I've had this happen to me twice now. The first time with the data sheets in a mission from a lvl 1 agent (got around that one with extra data sheets, as mentioned above), the second with vip's in a mission from a lvl 2 (couldn't find any VIP's to buy. Sad, I wanted to buy extra and just leave them in my hangar. Suffer, VP of Marketing!). Each time was after the recent patch, and each time I'd already had a bookmark sitting there.
I think that the problem with this mission is tied up in the problems that have happened with bookmarks since the patch. Can't have more than one per system, can't delete them, etc.
What I've been doing when I've been paying attention, and thus when I've been sucessful with these missions, is to move the bookmark for the completed pirate mission into a "trash" bookmark folder. Can't delete from there either with this set of bookmark bugs, but at least it's not in the main list. So when you get the new bookmark, it's actually written in there correctly.
If it makes you feel any better, the first time I completed the kidnapping mission, I didn't get a new agent. So at least you most likely didn't lose that :) |
