Since I have a very agressive Abaddon fit(1400er Wreckings with Puls) and Mission with it alot im a bit into Laser Ships to.  I would not name Paladin King, since it has the Issues with Angels/Gursitas. Kronos runs every type of NPC very smoth. My Abaddon is fare from not being able to take on Gurista/Angel Missions but it realy takes time, Kronos wasts Blood/Sansha Missions with less Problems.

Nerf Lasers! Thay need far to less CPU and Grid to Fit. Still using not enught Cap and do far to mutch Damage. O wait... they allready did... =( |

It is very easy to avoid all Angel/Guri missions when you run multiple Amarr agents or have enough faction standing that you can afford multiple declines without losing access to the agent. And the Pally kills Blood/Sansha/Drones a lot faster than a Kronos kills Serp/Guri/Angels...

Well yes, but you are very mutch limited to Mission for Amarr. Kronos is more flexible and have not realy bad Missions. Kronos realy is awsome vs Gurisas\Serpentis if you compare Beams\Rails. Ofc Puls are the only Short Range Turret that is realy a good choice for Missions and can realy outclass Beams by a large amout if your fitting is right. ----------------------

Kronos is good when you are not being TD'd by npc's...
Golem is good when u are not dealing with defender missiles...
Both have a rother devestating achilles heel.
CNR is better than golem (defender missile wise)...better off rolling in one of those..cheaper too

No. In pve, defenders kill a fixed fraction of the missiles launched, no matter what ship you use or how rapidly you fire missiles. CNR has no advantage over golem due to defenders.

DPS and range are both forms of tanking in missions, and the Kronos throws out a lot of DPS and kills effectively from over 100 km out.
I don't have a problem in any mission with mine, and I use 1 LAR and 3 hardeners.
Also, from eve-survival's notes on Enemies Abound 5 of 5:
"Completed in: Typhoon (1 armarr navy LAR, 3 t2 explosive hardeners and 2 kinitic hardener) (Tig)"
If a Phoon can 1 LAR EA 5, Kronos can 1 LAR any mission.

Well i cant fly a Kronos, but i am well skilled in a golem, marauders lvl5 and torp spec 4 plus the ability to fit t2 rigs gives my javs a range of 68kms and a dps of 800, they also go at 7km/s and since it takes 3 defenders to kill 1 torp i dont loose any dps as far as i can tell, i also have sig focusing at 5, so i get over 51% sig boost with 1 painter which means i 1 shot all bc's and most cruisers, plus quite a few frigs. Nothing smaller than a bs can take more than 3 volleys.
If i switch to cn torps for targets within 46kms i can get a single torp to do over 2000dmg. So for me this thing rocks, however i have next to zero gunnery skills so simply cant comment on the kronos.
