Should I?
I could have ransomed and shot gazillion of haulers so far... 
Something about it really makes me excited, though I guess it's kinda crappy having to fly from low to low in a pod

don't bother. Burn them at the stake, scoop up the loot. Any industrial that has something worth ransoming has something better worth stealing. A few of the bigger T1 fit ships might be worth a ransom "if you're powerful enough to just tank them until you get an answer". Generally though just blow the haulers.

You know, i used to be the biggest carebear around until i discovered how much fun popping other carebears was, give in to the yarr, once you go red you will most likely enjoy EVE a whole darn lot more, to each their own but yeah that's my advice.

Here's the problem.
Blobs. Blob being defined as any number of ships greater than my solo one. 
I wanna yarrr.. I really really do. However everytime I make my way down to lowsec I am just greated by a band of ships and I go pop. I tried zipping around belt to belt, sitting on a gate with a ship big enough to tank sentries with no other ship finds. Sometime I see a mining ship, but with a bit of quick intel there are like 10-15 of his corpies in system.
Or as I am hunting I run into the dreaded 6 ship or better gang of flashy reds.
Every foray into yarrr land has ended in disaster with me barely scratching the paint on one of my attackers.
And Looky Here, I'm no slouch combat skill-wise. T2 everything.
I know I know I know, get a bigger gang! Well, I'm a solo kinda guy. I don't play well with others.
There is no Yarrr hope for a player such as me. 
Can I have someone's stuff?

How will a Rapier make my deaths more enjoyable? How will it counter the multiple member gank-squads?

I best at evading in the Vaga. But still, it's just evading. No yarrr or pew-pew.
Edited to add: What you mean "Fix Skills"? There is the linky to those skills in my OP. Tell me what needs "Fixin'".
