Jolly Codgers (ticker PVP-U) was originally created by Solaric Tracker and Admiral Majike as a PVP training Corp for older, more mature players that wanted to learn PVP and everything else Eve in a relaxed, family first, family friendly atmosphere.
Now, we have an established player base, we belong to a great 0.0 alliance in Pure Blind (Get off my LAWN)...
...and we are at WAR!
So, we are now recruiting active PVP oriented players, with an eye toward continuing as a training corp once things calm down.
Did you ever wonder what it would be like to live in 0.0, and fly with and fight against some of the best PVPers out there? If so, these are our requirements:
GÇóMature people ages 30+
GÇóFamily Friendly chat and voice coms, no profanity or obsenity (though you WILL be subjected to non family friendly chat and voice coms when in a fleet with allied alliances).
GÇóTeamspeak 3 and Mumble are mandatory.
GÇóAll times zones wanted, we have players in all time zones.
GÇóFull API required
GÇóWe require a 5 mil skill point minimum, and require that you be able to fly:
Covert Ops and/or Stealth Bomber
Fast Tackle
Battlecruiser or Heavy Attack ship for ratting so you can generate isk while in 0.0.
GÇóWe prefer that you be able to fly Battleships and/or Logi's for our larger Ops, and of course are always looking for more specialized ship pilots to fill command and support roles in those fleets
We offer:
GÇóFun, mature environment (average age 37)
GÇóReal life first, no mandatory play requirements (but need active players)
GÇóFriendly, experienced players to help you with any questions (Many 2006 and earlier players)
GÇóForums and Killboard
GÇóReimbursment for approved PVP fittings

Hi Alvin, Both actually. We're kind of in the midlde right now. We do have a 5 million SP requirement just so you can get in some of the ships that we fly. Join us in the Jolly Codger chat and we can fill you in on the corp, alliance, group and see if your a good fit. We're starting up another round of training for all of our members not that familiar with null sec PVP combat.
