There are certain modules that greatly benefit a supercap to be at least faction. People using moms without those modules as at least faction are pretty laffo. The isk/benefit ratio is very good on some of them and someone flying a 15b ship should know this and act accordingly.
Having said that i'm pretty cheap so i'd probably T1 fit it and use civilian armor reps.

A whelp moment for IRC, stick all the blame on ED - did you say the same to SDG when they lost 2 moms and took 90% of the Oasa campaign on the chin while you were sitting in your home space?

Hardly angry, just stating observations that are shared by many.
Edit: Lets just say for a hypothetical; Your space is invaded. Seeing your token contribution in the 3-j constellation, do you think SDG or xDx are going to line up to help you? Before you respond, keep in mind that you yourself made it known that it was a necessary step for you (IRC) to try to uproot FIX/VIII before they gained SOV3, so the "We don't do POS warefare" response isn't going to fly.

Tbh if a mothership is going to die then no amount of officer/dedspace modules are gonna save it it is simply too much dps, so instead of loosing sumin like 30 bill because of modules aswell you only loose about 18 billion, it makes more sense tbh

Probably true - but what is worth noting is that 4 Motherships have now died in this conflict in little over a week. 2 x Solar Fleet, 1 x xDeathx and now the IRC MoM. All of this on top of the record being broken for the biggest number of capitals being lost in a single battle in BQ0 a few days ago, something like 40 SACKFIXV caps to 25 Solar/xDeathx.
This isk people are putting on the line and losing here is insane yet both sides still have a stupidly large captial force. Its pretty amazing to be honest.

actually if he had spent another billion or so on the tank backup might have saved him

I'm pretty sure he's just ****ed because your towers didn't drop faction guns like you promised. You talk a lot of garbage considering you're the guy who let your friends bend over and take it w/o lube in BQ0/3-J.

But we have seen some roaming Bob gangs up near Gem and in Drone regions. Have no idea why they flew all the way up there but as far as I'm concerned they're always welcome for a little pew-pew action.
I missed getting on this Mom mail because I was onlining junk at the tower and wasn't even in fleet,...

/me mutters soemthing about Farham threatening to shoot down the RK towers in dronelands breaking the POS nap, then anchoring a small, and then trying to siege a medium tower, lost some BS, warped away to the small, a smaller RK gang with no caps then killed the small tower while the larger IRC gang with caps bravely ran away.
