"Darn" he says, "I hate to hear of bad fortunes, but it's no reason for someone to get ****ed and start **** on themselves" He pulls out a pen, paper, and thumbtak.... no, he puts the thumbtak away for right now and starts to write*
Hello all you happy people,
Typically I don't like writting a bunch of non-sense. Trolling is a bit childish and more importantly, it wastes my time. So in Lu of what's happened to this corportation, I thought I'd put up an idea. If this isn't the right place for ideas, and the idea seems well enough to hold up to the scrutiny of CCP itself, let me know, and I'll jump threads, but none-theless, I think it's time I start writing the body of this essay paper.
I'm a Corporate Director myself, and while I'd consider CHO'ARRIM Coalition to be *cough... cough GREATEST CORPORATION IN THE UNIVERSE ... cough cough* we are still just taking our first steps for BP's and Isk reserves. Accordingly, corporate security is a major concern of mine.
If CCP is going to do something to help, here's something to think about.
Give each corporation(at it's HQ only perhaps, or at each of it's offices if you like) a timed safe, or a Filing cabinet accesible only with a randomly generated Password sent to the CEO on request. With this, the Researching players for a corportation could store and access BPo's as they wished(given a good CEO) and there they would be secure. The player who last accessed the safe would be noted... (not by eve-mails please!, I already have more than my hot-mail account in there) ...in a log, and most importantly, and I mean *MOST IMPORTANTLY*~~~ ... the BP's would be stamped with the Corporate seal. Using this, curious and do-goodery NPC's working a job in some far off factory would be able to send off messages and information about the papers(BP's) that have been stolen or gone missing once a thievery is reported, and clue in players that have high enough standing with that faction, as to the whereabout of the BP's
With this then, CCP might also open up new avenues into crime and BP laundering, but that would be much further down the road.
For the mean time, having a system of Safes and Corporate Seals would give each corporation identity and security.
A similar system might also be introduced for ships... perhaps.
*Sandcrawler, puts the pen behind his ear, pulls the thumbtak out again, stabbing himself, and stick the paper up on the wall.
Then he walks away*
